This ranked 29 on the first set and it definitely holds up well. Tama and Haku jump Tito and Martel from the start but the faces eventually get the advantage. The Islanders bump tremendously for Martel and Tito. Tama takes an absurd over the top bump from a dropkick that sends him out of the ring and over the guardrail. From that point on the crowd is totally fucking nuts. Martel gets the better of both Islanders for a few minutes as they continue to bump marvelously for him. A head collision leads into the FIP segment with Martel. I thought it was a very compelling heat segment with the crowd going nuts and a really great cut off spot where Martel runs the ropes but misses Tama and gets thrown to the floor. Martel then awesomely plays FIP on the floor desperately trying to get back in the ring but gets pushed into the ring post and takes a good bump to the floor. He does finally make it back into the ring where Haku takes control. Haku misses a standing somersault and takes a great bump from it. Tito gets the hot tag and the Garden has lost it's shit. Tito gets the figure four on Tama but Haku comes in and headbutts Tito square in the face. Tito gets pinned by Haku, who is the illegal man and now I get why Strike Force won there later matches the way they did. It makes sense now. This was a tremendous tag sprint with everything you would want out of a tag in ten minutes.

I realize we can't have 7,000 Strike Force vs. The Islanders tags and that omissions will have to be made but I want to get these matches watched and reviewed then pick the best few of the bunch. This is yet another very good to great tag between these teams. The usual brawl opens up the match but it settles down into the "Tama bumps like a total lunatic" stage. Martel is FIP in this tag and there are some awesome cut off spots with Haku. Tito gets the hot tag and The Islanders do their bumping fun and Tito locks in the figure four on Tama. Haku interferes with a big headbutt and The Islanders win in another screwjobby finish with the illegal man getting the win. The only problem with these matches is the goddamn illegal man wins every match but that's the biggest complaint.

29 Strike Force vs Islanders (10/3/87 Boston MA) 7,707
Damn, this crowd is nuts. Tama just doing high flying back bumps like it’s a trampoline. This match starts hot and never stops. Great spot when Tama leap frogs but Tito just stops and punches him in the face. Martel and Haku noggin knock each other and both are down. Ref gets distracted and Tama chokes Martel and hits a flying elbow and goes back to choking him. Love it. Martel getting thrown to the outside looked sick. Martel has a great FIP section and Haku’s shoulder breaker was nice. Same senton miss allows Tito to tag and clean house. Similar finish with Tito hooking in the figure 4, Haku coming in with the headbutt and pinning him even as the wrong man.
EDIT: This was #29 on the first set. It will still do well but people will have to decide what their favorite is and it will hurt its placing.
