Ron Garvin vs. Mr. Perfect (Boston 3/18/89)
-    Garvin is using Perfect’s head to practice his punches early on, forcing him to retreat. Garvin is punishing Perfect and even pulls him inside by his hair back to the ring. Perfect gives as good as he gets and punches his way into control. Big headbutt to the mid-section and now Perfect has a headlock. They sat in that headlock a little too much for my liking. A few hope spots but lots of laying down. Perfect tries a sunset flip but a punch to the head ends that. Garvin with an elbow drop and back rakes. Now he hooks in a sleeper for a minute. A piledriver attempt ends up as a sunset flip attempt for Garvin. An atomic drop sends Perfect leaping for the corner. These 2 battled it out in the stretch run. Garvin goes for the flying body press but its rolled through for the Perfect pin. I thought the December match was so much better. I wouldn’t give this one more than a LOW-END NOMINATION. 
-    I saw this made #46 and I can’t believe it made the top half. The December match was everything you would want. This one had a quiet crowd and a lot of laying around. Wow.
