Posted August 4, 201213 yr comment_5511881 Really fun match that was pretty good too. Beefcake struts around the ring and avoids a lock up. Hulk does the same thing to Beefcake and Beefcake is pissed. There was some fun brawling in this on the floor and Hulk took a good post bump. Beefcake stooged for Hulk some but took control eventually and locked in a long bear hug. This was a really good spot as the crowd was totally nuts during this entire match. Hogan's comeback was really good and he nailed Beefcake with some really vicious clotheslines. He did the big boot then the leg drop but Johnny V distracted Hulk. Johnny V held Hogan's arms back and Beefcake took a charge with his knee but missed and hit Johnny V allowing Hulk to roll him up for the win. Besides maybe a few tag matches with Valentine this might be the best Beefcake singles match I've seen. This was really heated, a lot of fun, and had some good work.
June 21Jun 21 comment_6031602 HULK HOGAN vs BRUTUS BEEFCAKE (08/17/1985; WWF Capital Centre; 00:18:35) - I don’t have a problem with anything they did in this match but I don’t think there is anything someone will remember. If I said “Tell me about the Brutus-Hogan “ match, there isn’t one spot or moment that one could point to that is unique to this match. No nomination. Props to Brutus for working and not making this a bad match. EDIT: I saw Exposer's comments. I think the DiBiase match I mentioned may be the best especially the atmosphere and the trash thrown in the ring.
