Next we get a young Tony Schiavone interviewing Tully Blanchard who is in his bunkhouse gear and they show the Born to be Wild video for Magnum TA from Mid-South as he is about to come into the area. The Assassin vs. Jeff Sword (11/21/84) It's always fun to see Assassin work as a babyface. Sword gets some offense here but Assassin just hits way too hard here. Next we get a promo by Dick Slater & Ricky Steamboat who are upset about a beatdown that was handed out by Tully Blanchard & The Long Riders (Ron Bass & Black Bart.) Fun spirited promo. "Avalanche" Buzz Tyler vs. Joel Deaton (11/21/84) I never got how Tyler got pushed so hard here although he was entertaining as a redneck Super Porky. Then we get a promo by Manny about defending the NWA World Tag Titles against the Russians along with talking about getting the US flag back with an injured Don Kernodle. Next we get a mini rundown of Starrcade 84 from Gordon Solie. "Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff vs. Mike Fever (11/21/84) Squash. Kernodle is on commentary here and he is fired up about getting revenge. "Outlaw" Ron Bass vs. Tommy Lane (11/21/84) Lane hasn't found Rock n Roll yet and gets beaten handily. Next we get clips of Wahoo/Buzz Tyler followed up by a heel Wahoo promo. Heel Wahoo was great. Brian Adias, Mike Davis, & Sam Houston vs. Joel Deaton, Gary Royal, & Doug Vines (11/28/84) Good spotlight match for the midcard faces. Next we get another good heel Wahoo promo in that he talks about how he hasn't changed it's everyone else. This is followed up by the Sweet Dreams video for Magnum TA from Mid-South. "Avalanche" Buzz Tyler vs. Ben Alexander (11/28/84) Squash. Then we get the full Starrcade 84 video with the great Far From Over by Frank Stallone as the music. "Chief" Wahoo McDaniel vs. Gene Ligon (11/28/84) Hard hitting squash. Tyler comes out next demanding a match with Wahoo. The Koloffs are out next and they promise to destroy Kernodle and all Americans. Slater comes out in his bunkhouse clothes talking about the Texas boys (Tully/Bass/Bart) and says he was the Texas heavyweight champ for 2 years which was hilarious. Slater was really good here. The Assassin vs. George South (11/28/84) Paul Jones is on commentary here and talks about his new man coming into the area that will be a future world champion and that man would be Superstar Billy Graham. Next we get a promo by Dusty & Manny with their NWA World Tag Titles talking about their upcoming challengers. Ivan & Nikita Koloff vs. David Diamond & Lee Ramsey (11/28/84) Squash. Next Dillon comes out with the Long Riders for a promo about Slater & Steamboat. "Avalanche" Buzz Tyler vs. Joel Deaton (12/5/84) Squash. Koloffs are out for a promo about Kernodle making his way back to the ring with a training video of Don working with his brother Keith Larsen. "Ragin Bull" Manny Fernandez vs. The Inferno (12/5/84) Squash with Dusty on commentary. Paul Jones comes out talking about the rebirth of his army starting with Superstar Billy Graham. NWA World TV Title: Tully Blanchard © vs. Tommy Lane (12/5/84) Tully is still putting up $10,000 on every defense. Lane is competitive here but Tully wins fairly easily Slater comes out for a promo showing clips of a brawl between him, Dusty, & Tyler against the Long Riders & Dillon. Ivan & Nikita Koloff vs. Brian Adias & Denny Brown (12/5/84) This is a competitive match when Ivan is in the ring as he gives and takes but when Nikita is in it is total domination.
