Only Lawler can wrestle and win a match in the last thirty seconds of a program and make it look good. This has to be the best two-week stretch of wrestling TV I've ever seen out of one performer bar none, and I've seen plenty of vintage Flair on TBS. Dave adheres to the format right down to the bitter end, which makes this scene even more incredible. There's no comparing TV like this to the stuff we see today.

Hahahah yet another surreal segment as Dave Brown calmly runs down the upcoming card while Jerry Lawler, clad in black Guess jeans, destroys a jobber named Ken RAPER.

Lawler doesn’t even change into his wrestling gear for this, wrestling the match in his black T-Shirt, jeans and boots that he’s been wearing for the duration of the show. A quick squash that Lawler wins after a fist drop.

If I didn't love Lawler before this show, I don't know how I could keep that view after.

Dave Brown casually runs down an upcoming card while Jerry Lawler dishes out another vicious beating. I love how Dave Brown has the detached air of someone who can no longer be surprised by anything Lawler does and simply has to work around it.
