Hogan starts off with complete bullshit and eventually wraps it up into something more coherent, which is sort of the opposite of how his promos for this feud have gone. It does say a lot that he believes Warrior's big accomplishment will be becoming the "#1 Hulkamaniac."

Warrior encourages Hoke Ogan to seize control of a plane and crash it, presumably into the SkyDome. "You must self-destruct, Ho Kogan, so that you know who is...the Chosen One." Jeez, he's not only coming off as a messianic heel, now he's coming off as a cowardly one. "Beat yourself, so I don't have to"? That's the message of our new #1 babyface?

Hogan mentions magic mirror and I’m totally thinking the glass he is doing his coke lines off. He doesn’t know who Warrior is because of the face paint. Hogan has no flaws and he is pure.

Warrior talks about hijacking a plane and killing the pilots. And then crashing the plane and committing suicide. A promo the kids can get behind.

You know, if I was a parent and saw these Warrior promos, I wouldn't have ordered Mania for my kids. There's bullshit, and then there's this stuff. It's all fine for us to mock it from the distance of almost twenty-five years, but I honestly wonder if this gave some Hogan-loving kids nightmares. Talking about crashing a plane, committing suicide to prove your worth as a warrior? Again I ask, why did Vince let this air, on the very program he hosted no less? Hogan's stuff about the magic mirror of Hulkamania and proclamations of himself as without flaw are storybook stuff by comparison. This isn't Heenan or Slick bragging about how his men are going to end Hulkamania, this is talk of actual death, and it's really out of place here.

Again, why didn't they make this the typical paint-by-numbers Hogan/Heenan battle, where Hogan vanquishes the Weasel's latest challenger and slaps him around at the end? Why were we subjected to this instead? Was Mr. Nanny really worth it?

Random thought during Hogan/Warrior promos #2.

What happens if (and I think this was about the time time capsules were a big deal) some fan from this time who worshipped this feud put all the promos and no match footage into their time capsule? How do future generations react to the epic battle of words between HO KHOGAN and the Warrrya?

Warrior's promo lends itself to the fantasy booking of "What if the Ultimate Warrior went into WMVI as a full-fledged monster heel looking to destroy Hulkamania?"

In the annals of WWF/E history, Warrior could have been the Hogan monster that actually defeated Hulkamania, held the title as the first long-term heel champ since Billy Graham and dropped it back a WMVII, turning back face in the process.
