I'm guessing Lawler was more repulsed by the fact that the chicks in Dallas were of legal age rather than that they were hairy-legged. I would think pimply-faced would be a turn-on for Lawler, though.

Lawler promises to make an example out of Jarrett for the "retarded" fans in Dallas and USWA officials who deem him worthy of a title match. So USWA Texas had its own separate lineage for the Unified title?

What Loss said. If there's a title change in the Memphis half of the territory, don't assume it counts in Dallas unless it's explicitly mentioned on TV. As you'll see later in the year, they don't bother to mention The Snowman's existence on the syndicated show until he's been stripped of the title since the tournament was going to take up over a month of TV when Jarrett pulled out of Dallas.

Good promo by Lawler running down Jeff Jarrett in advance of an upcoming USWA Unified World Title match. I like these heel Lawler promos, as I feel like it's a window to what we would have gotten had Lawler ever won the NWA World Title in the 80's.

Another great heel promo from the King, who's been batting a thousand since the bad match with JYD in January. He's definitely Promo of the Year so far, and considering that the field also includes Flair and Arn. that's saying something.

How much longer after this did Jarrett operate in Dallas? I don't think there's much if any USWA Texas stuff on the '91 Yearbook; they seem to have morphed into Global by then.

Lawler says that the mere fact that Jeff Jarrett is getting a shot at his prestigious Unified World title is a testament to what he’s been saying all along; that wrestling fans in Dallas are some of the most ignorant, unknowledgeable, ill informed, retarded inbeciles that he’s ever seen in his days a professional wrestler. Being ignorant as they are, they think that Jeff Jarrett is a worthy contender for his belt, and obviously as he’s got a match against him, so do all the officials in the USWA like Max Andrews. Someone who buys a bottle of peroxide and dyes their hair blonde, then gets someone to make him a sequinned jacket so that he can wear to the ring, that’s enough to make these idiots think he’s a title contender? He’s going to prove what a real World champion is, and don’t ever compare a punk like Jeff Jarrett to him as he’s an insult to his profession. Jeff Jarrett is not a wrester, all he does is try to impress all the hairy legged, pimply faced girls, so that when the match is over they’ll be hanging around his car asking for an autograph, trying to kiss him and trying to get a date with him! That might mean something to Jeff Jarrett, but a World Heavyweight champion like him doesn’t need scumbags hanging around. He doesn’t want them, he’s not out there to impress anybody, he’s there to do one thing, defend his title and take it home with him. When he faces Jeff Jarrett that’s exactly what he’ll do and he’ll show to all these people, Max Andrews and the officials of the USWA that he is not a title contender.

Really strong promo from Lawler here, but it is weird seeing him as the champion in Dallas when he has already lost the title to Jimmy Valiant in Memphis.
