Not one of the better Savage promos but Sherri is a tornado. They tease confrontations between Sherri & Dusty and Savage & Sapphire, which is kind of a bait and switch considering the rules of the match itself.

I wonder why they held off on Elizabeth until the PPV itself.

You know you must be acting crazy if you manage to seem crazier than Randy Savage, but Sherri gets the job done. Sherri was a great fit for Savage at this point in his career, as he needed somebody who was the complete opposite of Elizabeth and Sherri delivers that in spades. They are great together.

Sherri's the star of this segment, as she seems like a crazed jungle cat who can't wait to get her hands on Dusty and Sapphire. As good as she is with Randy, though, I still prefer the Beauty and the Beast stuff with Liz. it's just a shame that Liz wasn't a better performer, as there were times when she needed to break character a bit and get angry, as in over-the-top wrestler-style angry, and simply couldn't. In terms of adding to Randy's already-existing act, Sherri may have been better. But Randy and Liz had a style all their own.

Loved Jesse trying to convince the world that Randy had taken out Buster Douglas instead of the other way around. If Vince was the number-one Hulkamaniac, Jesse was the number-one Macho Madness freak.

Today’s guests on the Brother Love show will shatter the dreams of Dusty Rhodes and Sapphire at Wrestlemania VI, the ‘Macho King’ Randy Savage and the ‘Sensational Queen’ Sherri! Love is practically hyperventilating when he talks about the comments Dusty Rhodes has made should he ever be alone with Sherri, one on one, in the ring. Sherri says that the ‘Macho King’ is a former WWF World Champion, she’s a former WWF Women’s Champion, and she would knock him on his butt almost as quick as the ‘Macho King’ would! When an again excitable Love wonders what should happen if Savage ever got his hands on Sapphire, Savage says the thought of little Sapphire in the ring with the ‘Macho King’ drives him insane. Let your imagination run wild, let the ‘American Dream’ sweat and think of the possibilities with the whole world watching on, in the first mixed tag team match in the history of the WWF.

I said Sherri outshone Savage in the last promo and she did it again here. Sherri is just a ball of energy, even when Love isn’t talking to her she’s working, playing off what Savage is saying, pacing around the set, gesturing and getting wound up. When you compare how hard she works to the likes of Fuji, Slick and even Jimmy Hart, I just hope her effort and work was recompensed sufficiently.
