Okay, so now we know why WCW wanted Robocop to be part of Capital Combat. But like Soup said, that didn't make it any less stupid.

One other question: why put Sting's head on another man's body for this commercial? Wasn't he muscular enough for WCW? If not, I think we're beginning to see why his run on top failed, and considering how over he was, that would be a major disgrace in a business that's chock full of them.

This is the same one right? We get a promo for Robocop 2 at the end. Robocop 2, pretty good. Not quite as good or as pointed as the first, but a good action movie with a great heel in the little boy. I'm trying to remember the name of the drug they're selling. It's something like "X" or something? I mean X is a different drug, but it's something like that. One syllable.

‘The Horsemen said that they were going to take him out, but they made a big mistake when he started messing with the little Stingers. So now the time has come. Before you make your next move…’

‘Think it over creep!’

Yup, really looks like they are trying to get sales off the back of Robocop! Promo for Robocop 2 after the Capital Combat commercial.
