So I watched the Tatum/Dundee match and the lucha trios match, and was settling in for a night of Yearbook watching...and then I saw the Warrior and decided now would be a good time to finish this week's episode of UWC Championship Wrestling (cheap plug).

I'm honestly just trying to find out what was Warrior's appeal? How was this weird dude with the face paint who didn't make much sense when he talked popular? When I was a kid, I was the only Hulkamaniac in my group of friends. Everybody else liked Warrior. I didn't understand it then, and I still don't understand it now.

Back to the talk of normals and Little Warriors running unquestioningly to the ends of the earth.

Look, I know superheroes don't just say "I'm gonna kick your butt, Rude!" and have done with it, but wasn't there a way to make this guy sound a tad less weird, especially since Rude essentially ditched his gimmick in order to be taken more seriously as a challenger? The only lines that really made sense was when Warrior said that he hoped Rude would bring his best physically and mentally, and that what happened between them for the IC title would happen again for the World title; more stuff like that and we might have had something we could have listened to without the aid of hallucinogens.

As he and his Warriors walk straddling the crevices of this unstable world, what they see before them Rick Rude is a graveyard filled with memories. Memories of a cheap victory for him, memories of questions that were fully answered once before. Now Rick Rude promises to bring new strengths and greater challenges to his faithful Warriors. Like once before when they walked with the Intercontinental title, Rick Rude shall be eaten alive as they walk with the World title!

For a Warrior interview this wasn’t bad, as at least you get some idea of what he’s on about. Not great by any means, but when it’s coherent and makes some sort of sense, that’s always a plus with him!
