November 18, 201212 yr Author comment_5520339 Borne wants to shake Percy's hand for speaking the truth. Matt Borne promos are always good.
November 20, 201212 yr comment_5520514 Borne's sort of all over the place to start, but once he talks about the lumberjack match he gets on track in a hurry--Kerry is built for show, not for go. Pringle does not seem overly interested in making nice with Borne at this point.
December 13, 201212 yr comment_5522507 Its weird how out of it and unhinged Borne is acting which kind of parallels how Kerry is at real live sometimes but yet I really enjoy Borne's character around this time. Another good promo from him.
January 20, 201312 yr comment_5529092 Borne apologizes for slapping Chris around but nothing else. Borne is ready to proove to everyone that Kerry is just for show.
February 12, 201312 yr comment_5534862 Good promo from Borne, and another small step towards teasing a heel turn for Percy Pringle.
January 5, 201510 yr comment_5648287 Borne's promo makes a ton more sense than Kerry's, even though he's the one they call "The Maniac". I like how he was smart enough to apologize for slapping Chris because it didn't accomplish anything, which is a nice touch you don't see from most heels. Basically, he wants to fight Kerry because he wants a clean victory over the former champion to validate himself, and there's nothing wrong with that at all. Percy's trying to keep it business for now, even as Borne tries to sway him over to his side. As I said in the last post, this is going to be an interesting situation to keep an eye on.
April 13, 20169 yr comment_5741825 Learning that there's a Percy heel turn coming makes all these interactions pretty interesting. I'll be keeping a closer eye from now on. Good promo by Borne too, I don't know, it alarmist came off like a face promo to me.
December 31, 20168 yr comment_5780850 Matt Borne comes out and wants to shake Percy Pringle’s hand as he is the only man that’s spoken the truth. He says that he’s sorry that he slapped Chris Von Erich as it got him nowhere, he might as well have slapped Fritz, but he’s not sorry for anything else. He’s the Texas champion and he’s ecstatic that he’s got this lumberjack match coming up against Kerry. He’s going to prove to everyone, to all those girls who wet their pants when he comes out and takes off his robe, that Kerry Von Erich is built for show, and not for go! Another enjoyable Borne promo and I’m really enjoying him here in World Class. I know I shouldn’t try to work out what’s going on with the titles, but how did Borne becoming Texas champion? Reading between the lines did Kerry just give it him? I think we’ve missed a bit of TV which probably isn’t helping matters.
