Lawler cuts the same dinosaurs/mind-readers promo he cut on Mike Awesome, a promo that applies almost too perfectly to Kerry Von Erich. I do like that Lawler puts over KVE as a physical specimen and points to the brains as a point of difference between the two, rather than just talk about another incompetent opponent who couldn't beat anybody.

Lee Marshall says that it is going to be Jerry Lawler vs Kerry Von Erich one more time. Marshall is ecstatic about that but ‘The King’ is not. He’s sick of seeing Kerry Von Erich; he sees him in his sleep, every time he looks over his shoulder he’s dogging him wanting another shot at the World Heavyweight title and now he’s even following him to the IWA. He then cuts the same promo on him that he did on Mike Awesome earlier in the Yearbook where he compares him to a dinosaur, even down to the mind reader only charging him half price line. He is the undisputed Heavyweight champion and he will remain that!

It’s interesting seeing the interviews for different markets and how Lawler cuts the same one in different places for different people.
