They are really selling the idea that Flair vs Sting will have a winner and a loser. You know the Wrestle War and Capital Combat finishes were shitty when they have to do all this just to convince the audience that they're not going to get ripped off after two straight PPV main event finishes where they screwed fans out of a finish.

Not a bad promo, but I would have let Orndorff talk instead of Rocky, since Paul's actually going to have something to do with the World title match.

Was Luger officially a DWA? Sting mentions him here, but he hasn't been out with any of the Dudes' interviews since Capital Combat.

The Dudes consist of the Junkyard Dog, Sting, Rocky King and Paul Orndorff, and they’re all there with Jim Ross. King tells the Horsemen that their days are numbered as they’re going down! Sting says he’s finally got it how he wanted, with the Dudes around the ring and Ole Anderson handcuffed to El Gigante. No-one is going to get ripped off this time because it is one on one and there will be a clear winner. JYD says that he’ll be on guard dog duty around that ring and if anyone steps out of line he’s going to take a bite out of them! Unfortunately we don’t hear anything from Orndorff here.
