Adams gets the job done as a promo, but I'm not really a fan. His real calling is in the ring.

Adams gets hot at an Austin fan. The hard sell for the 4th of July show continues.

I really liked this Adams promo especially when he gets fired up at the Austin heckler. Toni brings some sound logic in deciding that Jeannie wants Adams back. The hype for the July 4 match was very good.

Toni seems pretty good on the mike for a gal. I think Adams shortcomings on the stick kept him from being a huge star. I would think most bookers would want to book him as a face so the shortcomings on the mic would be exposed.

Chris rants about his ex-wife regarding the damage she has done to him and Toni. He questions why but then says it doesn’t matter. Okay. Chris apologizes for shouting. Toni thinks Jeannie wants Chris back. Don’t dare call Toni an unfit mudder.

Again, Toni outshines Chris on the mic, although I liked Chris detailing the injuries that he and Toni have suffered at the hands of Austin and Jeannie, Like I said earlier, it's the girls who have made themselves into the attraction here, and I'm not sure that's really what Jarrett wanted, but he's wise to go with it.

 

Craig again smiles through the whole promo, and while it might be justified this time, he's done it so often it adds nothing to the effect. Maybe they could have at least made Percy the interviewer, though he seems not to be working in the booth this week, as he has a promo in the next segment.

 

I enjoyed Chris dealing with the Austin heckler and apologizing for shouting so much. Little touches like that remind us that wrestling's best when it's at least mostly spontaneous.

Liked Adams getting fired up here but he can't compare to my girl Toni.

Toni outshines Chris on the mic no matter how hard he tries to get fired up. I liked his threat aimed at the Austin fan though.

Toni implying Jeannie wants Chris back and calling her a motherfucker (basically) >>> Adams solid but regular 80's fired up babyface promo.
