Not to sound like a music critic or anything, but Jimmy and the Hammer were barely even lip-synching here. Poor Greg looked like he wanted to be anywhere else on the planet, even through his sunglasses.

When even the two people who are supposed to help you the most barely look interested, you can pretty much bet that your time has passed, and that's what was happening to Honky. Once he got squashed by the Warrior at SummerSlam '88, he was washed up. No wonder he balked at dropping the IC belt to Savage at the original Main Event; he knew that without the "greatest IC champion of all time" bit, he had nothing to offer, and this segment shows that he was right.

Bobby and Gino were the highlights, with Bobby screaming "One more time!" and Gino's remark about people heading for the vomitories. Has anyone actually heard a bathroom called that, or did Gino make up that word out of thin air?

Apparently many of their fans have requested that they perform their million selling, gold record hit that’s sweeping the nation! Monsoon quips that they probably only had two requests, but ‘The Brain’ tells him to ‘shush!’ Honky is on lead vocals for ‘Hunka, Hunka, Hunka, Honky Love’ with Jimmy Hart and Greg Valentine providing backing. Hart looks like he’s enjoying himself, but Valentine looks like he would rather be anywhere than here right now.

When watching Coliseum tapes of this era as a kid, I never grasped how weird this would have been in 1990 to see Valentine as Honky's axeman.

Catchy song; it's got a good beat and you can dance to it. I'll always pop for a Jimmy Hart song played "live". Honky's still great at what he does and I'm all for the purposeful awkwardness of Valentine becoming Roy Orbison.
