December 12, 201212 yr Author comment_5522389 Kerry Von Erich poster for sale. Kerry's on his way out so I guess they are liquidating. Not a particularly good drawing.
December 22, 201212 yr comment_5523529 I remember that drawing in an Apter mag ad. I think they were trying to pass it off as somebody else.
January 6, 201312 yr comment_5526350 that drawing looked awful and if that was a real artist in the ring I would not want any part of that shit. No wonder its only 10 bucks for the poster.
February 1, 201312 yr comment_5532282 Selling some Kerry Von Erich’s paintings. Only $9.95! Not the greatest art work there.
February 2, 201510 yr comment_5652601 It looks more like Ricky Steamboat from the early eighties than it does Kerry, to be honest. It's not quite as far off as some of the wrestling dolls Vince put out in the eighties, though. This was just another of the many ways that the Dallas promotion tried to make money off of the Von Erich name. Not a triumph in any sense, but not the outright wrestlecrap some of you seem to think it was.
May 17, 20169 yr comment_5753150 Hahaha man this thing is weird looking. I'd love to find one and hang it in the living room.
January 25, 20178 yr comment_5785113 Steve Leach has been working on a painting of Kerry Von Erich for two years. Kerry says that he believed in him when he didn’t believe in himself, and he wouldn’t finish the painting until he won the World Heavyweight title. We get the big unveiling and the painting looks more like ‘Jungle’ Jim Steel than Kerry Von Erich! Prints of the painting are available for $9.95 if anyone wants a copy of it. Not sure when this advert is from as Marc Lowrance is in the ring and helping with the unveiling. This thing looks like it didn’t take two days to do, let alone two years!
March 15, 20178 yr comment_5791996 Guessing this is from the 80s. Either way, not a great drawing of Kerry by any means. Hard to condemn USWA for the money grab given the nature of wrestling.
