Miz segment was great. A guy standing next to Miz's parents cheering and screaming punt him took away from the seriousness of it a bit. It was good for a laugh though.

I hate the Big Show segments. I expected him to start singing O Mio Babbino Caro when he had Dusty in his arms and was taking him down to the ground.

I loved the Ryback and Heyman interview. Heyman looked like he was genuinely in love with him. Heyman is good with subtle facial expressions. And he just kissed him so much for subtlety.

This is the kinda angle you see a guy like Hogan, Cena or any other tippy top babyface intervene in... so where's DB? Is he banging Brie somewhere in the back or something?

Not saving Miz IS the right thing to do.

The point is it is an opportunity to further solidify DB's status as the new ace if you have him taking down this maniac. It also further their own personal feud. Why they passed it up just to run a vanity angle is beyond me. Beating Miz down in his hometown savagely and in front of his parents was good enough to establish Orton submitting to Stephanie and Hunter's request to bring back the insane heel viper. Just at least have DB run him off after the damage is done.

Even when both are faces, when did Bryan *ever* like Miz? Hell, the build to SummerSlam had him telling Miz to shut up so he and Cena do their thing. My interpretation is Bryan is a man of his word, which also means not helping a guy who put him through shit nearly 3 years ago, even if that guy is on the better side.

Man I was hoping Titus would get his move in because the fans were going nuts barking

I was thinking and hoping the same thing.

Also, on top of all of Total Divas more less being faces, they acknowledged the real life Bryan-Brie relationship for the first time on a regular WWE show tonight. I'm guessing it sets up a Brie-Steph confrontation, which may not be all that appealing, but is an easy workaround PG and all that.

Dusty's promo kinda choked me up. Fucking awesome. And Stephanie giving him a Bed, Bath, and Beyond gift card was so bitchy. Her giving Dusty a "Sophie's Choice" moment was so evil in every way, bringing up Dusty neglecting Dustin, just everything about that ruled. Including the Big Show part, which I thought was great.

I want Brock Lesnar getting jealous of Paul Heyman's new infatuation with Ryback to lead to Lesnar vs. Ryback.

That would be fun, but is there any reason to turn Lesnar face?

I figure they would end up going the other way with it and have Heyman turn on Ryback in the end.

Stephanie has vastly improved as an actress/actor. Theres's no way she would have been able to pull of that segment 10 + years ago. Dusty was awesome of course. Him telling Stephanie to "drag her long legs out here" killed me. As did him throwing down the Bed bath and Beyond card in disgust

At the very least, there's a lot going on right now. There's a sense that things "matter" in a way that I'm not sure I've seen in a couple of years at least and they've kept it going for a relatively lengthy time. More than that, it almost seems like they have a plan. These are all good things.

That's funny because my wife, who is a stage actress, couldn't bear to watch Stephanie act. She actively looked away during her segment and didn't return her attention until it was over. Of course she doesn't know how much worse it could have been. Point is, she is still long ways from being considered "good", but then she is a businesswoman who has heavier responsibilities in her life than worry about acting.

The ending to RAW was much needed last night. Watching the 1997 Yearbook it is obvious that once WCW got by April or so they went on far too long with the NWO getting over on WCW nearly ever week. It is pretty ridiculous that in October of that year a WCW wrestler can still get jumped by the NWO without anyone coming out to save him, to the point that the announcers harp on WCW's lack of unity constantly (despite being the supposed good guys in the angle). This angle is far more recent so they have a long way to go to get to that point but it was still the right move to have the babyface roster stand tall at the end of RAW. I am sure everyone who disobeyed will be put back in their place next week, but it was still a well executed and needed ending.

The best part of RAW for me was that they let Orton stand on his own a bit. All of the heat prior to this was on Triple H and Stephanie. Orton taking out Miz by himself and then being featured by himself (or least away from Triple H) during the main event got him more in the spotlight. If they are going to continue with Orton versus Bryan for any length of time, they needed to start giving a reason to want to see Bryan beat Orton other than the "he was hand picked by Triple H" story.

It will be really interesting to see how they pull all of this together. There are a lot of guys that need to get revenge at some point in the future when all of this wraps up but only a few (four) full-time heels, one part-time wrestler, and one non-wrestler right now to get it against.

As for the Lesnar/Ryback thing, there will come a time that Triple H won't want to keep re-upping Lesnar's massive part time deal. They need to transition Heyman to a visible role if he desires to stick around post-Lesnar. Therefore I could see them booking it as a Clash of Titans, tweener heel Lesnar vs heel Ryback.
