It might make sense, but do people really want to see Show versus Lesnar again?

It is WWE's job to make people want to see it.

Or they could just put him in a compelling match in the first place. I mean, it won't be the worst thing ever, but I can't imagine it's a match that has any sort of cache, seeing as Brock has beaten Show numerous times in the past. I could very well be wrong though. Personally, I'd rather see Kane face Lesnar. Seriously, Kane. At least that's a fresh match-up.

I guess they've already forgotten Show's main event push last year where they tried giving him "YES!" and building to a feud with HHH, which bombed miserably. I'd rather them try to build up someone like Sheamus or Ziggler. It may not work either, but at least it's a fresh match and a new dynamic. I really wish Rey was still in WWE's good graces. Even though there would be no doubt over the outcome (not that there is with Brock-Show), they could work an awesome match.

If this happens I can only assume Vince is trolling fans by seeing how bad he can make the product. It's just about the worst choice on the roster. Show has no momentum, a failed main event run last year, not particularly over, got squashed by Brock at the Rumble ... there are plenty of guys they could have taken last month and this month to build up to make a good challenger. I think people would get excited over a Sheamus/Brock match, even though Sheamus doesn't have a ton of momentum. Cesaro of course but his push has been utterly botched. Ziggler is still massively over despite being ignored for a year.

Yeah, people do seem to forget that. Show was over as fuck the first couple weeks of that angle, teasing going agaisnt the Authority. It was really great. Then they demasculated him, added a stupid and over-wrough financial angle to the story and gave us tedious weeks of Show doing the Authority's bidding and crying about it. WWE has a truly unbelievable ability to ruin anything good they stumble upon.

The Big Show/Lesnar rumor seems like someone just trolling AND trying to make it seem less likely that Cena wins. Pretty much anyone else on the roster would be a better pick (if Lesnar retains) and if we know it, they know it too.

I'm under the impression that Lesnar wins, but what I'd love to see happen tomorrow night is some sort of foreshadowing regarding what Cena is going to do AFTER Night of Champions as I expect he will still be a major part of the show moving forward. I'd also like some foreshadowing about who Lesnar's next challenger will be - and, in my opinion, the best choice is a "tweener" Orton.

I like how before Brie briefly mentioned it last month that the Big Show v Authority feud had been erased from WWE lexicon. Those segments where Stephanie was acting like Show's mom are super creepy in retrospect. But yeah it was getting over fine before they started the crying stuff and Hunter buying his house

I'd imagine Show has a large downside guarantee and WWE needs to justify it on occasions (mainly the weaker half of the year)

Not in Rey's current state.

Big Show is a perfect next guy for Brock. Henry is feuding with Rusev, Show has a personal reason for revenge, and they have a history.

Wow, there's a lot wrong there. Big Show is an awful next guy for Brock.

As others have pointed out, Big Show bombed spectacularly on top last year and Big Show v. Brock has been done to death. Brock killed him dead last time.

Big Show v. Brock part 9000 would be awful

In my fantasy booking, Bryan wins the Rumble and they run Ambrose/Lesnar as the title match. I really think they NEED to run Ambrose/Lesnar before Lesnar drops the belt.

But as much as I want to see Bryan return to win the Rumble, a Rumble win for Bryan really being something that needs to happen after last year, I wouldn't complain about Bryan/Lesnar at RR one bit considering the rumors that it's going to be in Philadelphia. In which case I'd definitely be going.

at this time in 2013 we were getting Bryan/Sheamus at Mania 30. I don't really put much stock in what their current plans are especially considering they are not including Bryan in any plans right now. If he comes back by the Rumble and is healthy and ready to go then he is going to go back to being the most over guy in the company real quick. If you think that won't effect their Mania plans then i dunno what to tell ya

I mean, they didn't decide to end the streak until the afternoon of WM 30. They could conceivably audible a Bryan Rumble win at any point before the actual match, and I'll be shocked if they don't once he comes back and has the crowd in the palm of his hand again.

As for Reigns, if Bryan can come back and carry the title, they'd probably elevate Reigns more with a heel run chasing Bryan than anything they can do with him as a face right now.

Brie doing promotional work for Total Divas said Bryan will not need a second surgery. So with the original time table he should be back around January

Shouldn't he be back earlier? The original time table WITH a 2nd surgery had him back in December-January (3 month recovery).

I mean, he should take as much time as needed but wouldn't shock me if he's back for SS if he doesn't need shoulder surgery.

As for Lesnar, I really don't get their insistence on finding someone "credible" to face him. They are in a perfect spot with Lesnar right now where they can actually use him to *make* credible challengers. Right now anyone with the balls to challenge him will instantly gain credibility with the fans. Then if that challenger manages to hang with Lesnar moreso than Cena did..? Guys like Sheamus, Ziggler, Wyatt....those guys could be instantly elevated even with a loss to Lesnar. I mean sure Big Show *looks* more credible against Brock than someone like Ziggler, but the fans know better. Nobody is actually going to buy that Big Show might beat him so why not use this chance give someone the rub instead?
