It's important to make your opponents look credible even when you insult them. So, yeah...

Yikes, those two can't help themselves. A better promo guy would have been able to slaughter Steph's stuff there especially. She really shouldn't be dishing that sort of thing out if there's going to be no comeuppance for her. HHH, I can understand if/when Bryan pins him.

I felt the same thing when she was ripping apart Big Show last year.

Which is part of what makes Dusty's hand to the face so damn funny.

I'm wondering if Steph took acting classes or has done so many corporate gigs that she just got better. She doesn't screech anymore and annunciates much better. Watch a promo from her from 2000-2002 and it seems like a different person

No doubt there is some frustration coming out of her for all the criticism she took for the 13 years she was head of creative. I think it's a constant attempt to prove herself.

Someone should tell Cena that mentioning he's doing the same thing now he did in 2002 is kind of the reason 75% of the audience is sick of him.

Sean, there are those us -- myself, El-P, some others too -- who have completely given up on it. There's enough footage from the 80s alone probably to last me a lifetime. To be honest, when there's the entirety of any given promotion you care to name from 1985 to watch, I can't see any reason at all to devote any of my wrestling time to watching this week's RAW. Once I've seen all of the 80s sets, all of the 90s yearbooks, every single NWA and WCW PPV, and any other disc here that I happen to have, maybe I'll consider watching RAW again then.

 

 

This concept is similar to my view at this point. I'm just going back now and devouring 80s videos. I've been out of the current product for years with no intention of coming back.

Regardless of the no show by Punk, this was a great RAW. D-Bry vs HHH feels more important after what happened tonight, at least now I'm interested.
