Yeah, that's crossed my mind too. There's no doubt that he is over. But he's nowhere near as over as he was last summer before they snuffed his momentum. You can tell that when he's selling during a match. He's not on the level of Cena. 'Yes' is as strong as ever though.

I didn't think Bryan was bad on SD!. I've seen and heard far worse from his character and WWE faces in general. After reading the spoilers I was expecting far worse to be honest.

Just finished watching the Batista-DB exchange and DB responded with taking shots at Batista's skinny jeans, sunglasses indoors, belly button tattoos and whatnot. They may be turning the corner on letting people get over on him verbally.

It would be easy enough to turn him. Have him save Bryan from a beat down from HHH and friends. Set up a match with Batista/Partner of his choice against HHH/who ever. Batista announces his partner as the most talented person in the business . Bryan walks out. Batista gets Bryab's rub. He's now getting cheered because he's positioned right. This only works if Batista isn't the champ. Bryan has to be the champ.

 

If they played their cards right, they have Bryan win the title at Mania.You have Batista win the title from Bryan at Money In the Bank or the June PPV. Batista alluded to being the real hero the fans should cheer last night on SD!. This is clearly a reference to his movie. Batista is champ during the movie hype (released August 1st), and Bryan can win the title back at Summerslam.

Right the key is Bryan being inserted into the main event and winning the title for the before mentioned scenario to work. Bryan pins Orton at Mania. Batista has a look of Damn he's good . We do Orton/Bryan at the next ppv . Bryan goes over . Next ppv. Bryan/Batista Bryan goes over. Batista shakes his hand and endorses Bryan as champ. Then that leads to my previous scenario and Batista is a hot baby face for the movie.

I just recently became familiar with Derrick Bateman and he is now one of my favourite all time WWF/WWE personalities. I see he's in TNA now feuding with Kurt Angle so I'm happy to see that he's doing well.

it will be interesting the next four weeks how they build up HHH/Bryan. The promos are basically repeating the same lines over and over. They have to change it up somehow, don't they? Hell it's the same promo they've been cutting since August just with slight variations. Part of me thinks Hogan could get involved here. I would also expect Bryan to get beat down several more times going into Mania

He was just unlucky/fell through the cracks. I think like Colt Cabana his contemporary quirky Jewish humour is wasn't something WWE brass got. WWE had various plans for him but they would get nix or forgotten. His reoccuring knee injuries were probably the biggest thing. I assume WWE eventually saw his knee as too much of a liability.
