The way I see it, at least Piper is just talking and doing these Piper's Pit segments, rather than getting in the ring. Seeing him stumble against Jericho in 2009 was dreadful.

Is there anybody who deteriorated younger and quicker than Piper? I can't watch him stumble through anything after 1992.

I doubt they can script Piper. He's...not all there, and while that's been clear for a long time, it's becoming more obvious.

I heard on this very forum that the possibility of it being a complete collection is nil since they would tape over their own stuff.

Corny played ball with them recently when they did the history of SMW piece for the website, here's hoping he can play nice here too. That would be quite the acquisition.

He doesn't own the footage, but he recorded it on his own VCR going back to 79, and a lot of what's traded comes from his master tapes.

Would be amusing if Lawler gets money for the rights to footage he doesn't actually HAVE. Even if he is the legal owner now. Ron Fuller should give them a call and see if they'll buy my terrible quality Continental DVDs.

Well at least what they'll pay him might cover what he had to pay for in VHS tapes to record it all. MIGHT.

Hopefully it comes through, I know I'd be psyched for Memphis on the Network. Adding diverse content is something I believe they need to do, mixing up Mid-South, AWA, WCW, ECW, WWC, NXT, SMW, OVW (if they own that), Crockett, and whatever else they own in the live stream and vaults is the ebst way to keep the Network fresh for a longer period of time.

Hm, did Piper have one of those "never the same again" injuries at some point, or did his health just generally deteriorate at a wild pace? I know his back was super jacked up by the time he did that 90's WCW run, but I don't recall if that stemmed from a particular incident or not.

Whatever it was, may have been fallout from all the drugs he was on. The laundry list of stuff he said he had done when he did the infamous HBO interview is staggering.

don't know if there is any truth to this but apparently Hunter and Stephanie have been pushing for Shane to return to the company for a few months now. Apparently he isn't supposed to have an on air role and will be just backstage at mania. I do smell an angle here though

This year's Wrestlemania song is so, so, so awful.

They should've stayed with the Mania 10-14 song permanently.

The one previous to that is the one they should have stuck too. That Simon Cowell-produced garbage was annoying even then.

I blame WWE for Kevin Rudolf, Tinie Tempah, and MGK songs staying in my head for years and years.

Nothing was worse than the one year they played that god damn Limp Bizkit song over and over and fucking over again.
