WWE should have REAL SEASONS and not 'seasons' like they currently have. A season requires a break or at least some time of majority seperation to know we are going into a new period. Sure we can all assume that:

Rumble to WM is Season one.

Season two is everything after Mania- SummerSlam.

Season three is Post Summerslam to the end of they year.

WWE wants to do everything to get the company to be considered a normal TV series, so why such the hard avoidance of having actual seasons?

Pretty good NXT match on RAW. Kind of hurt that the crowd wasn't all that interesting in the match. But at least the commentators actually took the match seriously which is shocking for that trio

Unfortunately I am sure some old "legends" will tell us the match sucked because they didn't slow it down or sell anything

Very glad KENTA is keeping his name. Maybe there's a difference between KENTA and Kenta for copyright purposes?

It's probably far more likely they see zero chance of KENTA going to TNA or GFW (if that exists) at any point. If he flames out in WWE, he'll quietly go back to NOAH or another promotion if NOAH falls apart.

HHH on Twitter posted a picture of himself in front of a monitor at Raw pointing to Zayn and Neville. Still trying to wrap my head around the internet's #1 enemy for a decade now being the savior responsible for guys like Generico, PAC, Kenta, Moxley, Black, and Steen getting opportunities. Interesting times.

Yeah it's unfair to criticize Neville for that match. He was only in there for a minute or two. But going forward I don't know how he'll fare on the main roster because he hasn't adapted to the WWE style very well. He seems like a guy who should only have short spotfests unless he's up against a Cesaro or a Sheamus, but they'll probably have him work from underneath a lot.

Like I said on Twitter last night...that NXT match layout was the perfect example of the battle going on between the old WWE guard and the new WWE guard and how they are treating NXT talent

No idea where you are getting that from.

Solely based on the match layout last night it is obvious Neville is being called up and Breeze is winning the belt. The match was only about Neville standing out. WWE 101 booking is that Breeze loses on TV, wins on "PPV".

Well it helps that he made the developmental system his legacy defining project. I honestly doubt they'd give most of those guys a shot otherwise.

So basically, the point is still that HHH is behind recruiting and giving these guys a shot.

Giving credit to Triple H for the recruitment of those guys is super silly. Rob Naylor was the one for suggested PAC and El Generico. He pitched for Devitt and Kenta. Joey Mecury and William Regal are a massive part too.

The layout of working slow chinlocks in a match that should've been laid out as a sprint was the main thing that bugged me. Those guys had a small amount of time to work with and they should've all been able to get some shit in

I can understand that but this match genuinely had a different purpose.

I will acknowledge that my perspective was skewed going into the match as I know where NXT and NXT talent are heading next.

This month is really going to be eventful.
