Reigns didn't have outside help to win the Rumble though. Big Show & Kane were both already eliminated, then returned to the ring to beat down Reigns, which is when Rock came out.

But had he not come out, Kane/Show could have whomped him at will and left him for dead until Rusev, as the only other man left in the match, reentered the ring and tossed him out.

Well, that's a bit of a grey area since kayfabe nobody knew that Rusev was still in the match. They rang the bell after Reigns eliminated Show and Kane.

I get the feeling they are going to try to "prove" Roman isn't the hand picked guy kayfabe wise by throwing him in all sorts of wacky handicap matches to make him defend his shot. Of course this will probably only make him seem more like Always Beatin' The Odds John Cena and only irritate people more.

Man, not even five minutes into this and the smugness is unbearable already.

I really liked that opening segment. Unnecessary long as usual but I like were this is going.

Why would you keep putting Bryan and Reigns together for segments? If the supposed goal is to make Roman into THE GUY, it would seem that the last thing you'd want is to have him anywhere near the guy getting 10x the reaction.

I am not sure if it is sad or funny that the one person most responsible for getting Roman Reigns over until WM isn't actually Roman Reigns but Daniel Bryan. Of course I say this and Rollins probably beats Bryan clean as hell.

I think Roman Reigns did a job to somehow prove that he isn't hand-picked. Because if he truly was hand-picked, he would have won, right? More meta booking.

I've gotten very good at ignoring them. Cole, Lawler, and JBL became white noise to me but Booker T is throwing that off. No pun intended.
