It was neat to see spots that both teams do, but to do them with a member of the opposite team. Like Rogers and Morton doing a double team monkey flip in the corner on the Russian. I thought Ivan was the glue that held the heel team together. In case anyone was wondering Tommy Rogers was the FIP. Of course he did a good job. Back to Ivan he was great at the finish, he really took some nice arm drags, and just directed traffic out there. He really was a ring general here. You can see an Ivan Koloff turn starting here. Overall a fun match and a low level nomination for the work, but mostly for the uniqueness of the face side team up.

The early part of this was fun watching the faces work together with the heels stooging around for them. The double monkey flip spot with Morton, Rogers, & Assassin was cool. Rogers would get isolated in the heel corner and he worked FIP getting punished by all of the heels where Ivan was totally the glue that held everything together here. Morton got the hot tag and the Macon Coliseum erupted going crazy for everything as the match broke down into an 8-way brawl. Assassin had Morton in the Cobra Clutch but Fulton would come off the top hitting Ivan who ran into the Assassin knocking him down forcing him to get pinned. Paul Jones jumps on Ivan afterwards which is the beginning of his turn. This was a very fun TV match and this goes on the block as a low-end pick.
