Flair is still talking about CNN and the Omni. When did they decide to scrap that for Gainesville, GA and what caused that decision?

The dreaded security concerns. No, that's not a jab at the WWF. I'm not sure if CNN Center was actually thought to be a target or if someone realized that in the midst of a war it needed to be utilized for other things.

Steiner cuts an awful, blithering, marble-mouthed promo. Flair is Flair and is awesome.

Never mind if Scotty was as good as or better than Flair on the mic. The real question is, was he even as good as Rick, who was supposed to be punch drunk/mentally slow? I have my doubts about that. Personally, I'd have pushed Rick before Scotty for a singles career, if only because Rick was a former TV champ. As for Flair, that was a nice line about the Turner/Fonda marriage being the greatest romance of all time. Too bad it didn't last, like Flair's own marriages.

Memo to Dusty: Please don't let wrestlers quote Shakespeare who probably think of something to drink (Shakes' Beer) when they hear the name, as evidence by Scotty's total butcher job on The Bard here. Michigan education or not, neither Steiner brother will be qualifying for Mensa any time soon.
