Posted July 2, 200520 yr comment_2734765 Ok fellas... I have been burning this shit up with amazing speed. Summer school ends next week, and with the new arrival, I anticipate on being home the majority of the summer. However, right now, I have a strategy where no one person will have to wait much longer than any other trader. So, my aim is that no one has to wait a month while another guy only waits three days. The goal is to make sure everyone is getting their stuff every 2 weeks or so (sometimes sooner) but of a larger volume. Here is what I have on my plate... Palladino's tape conversions- OK, right now, I have 7 NWA tapes at 6 hours apiece in 1st generation quality. These will take prioroty on the burner since they will be copied for the majority of people (Loss, tim, teke, Mortimer and Dan himself). also, it is important that these go out because it may open up access to Dan Ginnetty's tapes that he has yet converted and Dan has the best quality around... seriously. If this goes well, this is a plus for all of us. Loss's Order- Everyone has expressed interest in some of Loss's tapes and I am busy converting those in between Palladino tapes. The difficulty is that there aren't alot of 2 hour clean breaks to make the discs. those that had clean breaks or were top priority have already been burnt. the others will be whittled away slowly but surely. If anyone wants one of these tapes ASAP, notify me. Bruiser Chong's CHVs- Bruiser just sent me a batch of CHVs to convert to DVD. These should be easy to knock out since they are mostly under two hours and I can just set up the convertor and run it whether I am home or not. These will become available shortly, and between teke and myself, we will have over 100 CHVs converted before summer's end... I just feel it. Mortimer- Mortimer has asked me to convert some MMA comps he is going to score. These will also become available as I convert them. Hopefully, the breaks for these will be clean so they can also be converted easily. To Tim and Brian.... per our agreements, continue to send and I will continue to pound out the discs as fast as I can. Teke's Dan Ginnetty order- teke and I recently went in on a bulk buy from Dan and it came out to 34 discs. I have almost all of these converted but these are taking priority on the burner (not the convertor). I think I have three left. As for the Ginnetty bulk buy we were discussing, I think I want to hold off in the meantime (1st of August sounds good) until I clear out some of these Palladino tapes and discs. However, if demand for another bulk buy is overwhelming, I am game. Just be patient.
July 6, 200520 yr Author comment_2772742 Update: Ginnetty's Palladino Conversions are finished. They have either been burned or uploaded on the computer. I already sent Dan back his copies and discs. Since Tim is going on vacation, his have also been shipped out. For Mortimer, teke and Loss, I have finished the first 5 volumes (15 discs apiece). That means 6 more to go for each guy. --------- I just received packages from Brian and Bruiser. I am currently converting those while also converting more WWF TV and more of Loss's tapes. Speaking of which, Loss will be sending several tapes of his to teke for conversion. If you want those tapes, speak to teke. --------- Also, I have individual deals with each of you based on burning ability, etc. As a memo, the deals I have with each of you are for you and you alone. The deals are as follows... Tim- Tim has sent me so much that if Tim wants something I will burn it for him. So far, he has sent me over 70 DVDs and about 20 VHS tapes and more on the way. Loss- Loss is moving and I am helping him preserve his collection by converting parts of his collection and replacing old tapes from his collection. He is also the only trader that has sent me money (that wasn't included in a bulk buy) for time and supplies. teke and Mortimer - Since we have the ability to burn DVDs, we have been going disc for disc. Simple as that. Brian and Bruiser - For both of these guys, they have several masters and high quality tapes that need converting. For converting, I give them a copy of the show they send and a disc of mine. If there ever comes a time where we run out of tapes, we will implement a new deal. I think these deals are all fair and have been agreed upon between me and the parties involved. If you make deals with each other, independent of me, then I have no involvement in that deal. Do not expect me to burn or convert for free . Just as clarification, when you trade with me, you are trading with me alone. With the wishlists, I keep an eye out for who needs what so when the time comes, it will be available. For example, Brian wants Mortimer's AAA vol. 1 and Mortimer wants Brian's Toryumon. Well, if Mort sends me the AAA, Iwill burn it for Brian and myself and Mort will receive Brian's toryumon through me. IF two collectors who don't have burning ability want to fascilitate a trade with tapes or shows I am not interested in, I will have no problem converting for you guys as long as you cover the cost of shipping and discs. Also keep in mind that teke has the ability to go VHS to DVD and DVD to DVD so anything I can do, he can do. I have been trading with teke for over three years now so if you send it to him, good chances are I will get it anyway, and vice versa. ---------- Awaiting orders from : teke Famous Mortimer Tim ---------- Need to send: Loss's next order (Memphis, Palladino, whatever else I burn) teke- Ginnetty order; Next big order (Palladino, CHVs, more WWF tv, etc.) Mortimer 3rd order - (Palladino, more WWF tv, ECW fancams, etc.) sek - Purchasing Mid South set and ECW dvd Nick- 8 disc trade ISJ981 - Deal pending Lynch - money for Yoshida comp ---------- Also, talked to two people about trades and have set up deals with the following guys... Nick - He has some stuff that we need and has lots of stuff that needs to be converted. I am going to hold off converting for him until the current crop of tapes are knocked out but will still obtain DVDs from him in the meantime. ISJ981 - He has the ability to go VHS to DVD but not DVD to DVD. He is going to make comps of the huge collection of WWF and WCW tv masters. ***Tim, he has every tv match we need for the Eddy/Mysterio comp. *** For both of these guys, I am going to see how 3-4 trades go. If I am happy, and if anyone else who deals with then are happy with the transactions, I may add them to the collector's list.
July 17, 200520 yr Author comment_2895099 New Update: Tim- All of your stuff is converted/ copied so far except the Sakuraba comp as we discussed per PM. Awaiting your order. Loss- You have over 40 discs converted so far. I am going to convert the rest of your tapes this week and see how many discs that leaves you. If it is not many, I may send the rest of your discs all at one time so either expect a super huge order or one huge order and one mid-sized one. Brian- Working on finishing touches of the lucha. Will send back tapes and discs all at once. Bruiser- Awaiting next batch of CHVs. Still haven't converted the 4 CPed tapes. Will have that done also this week. Teke- Slowly but surely collecting a huge chunk of discs for you. If you are in no rush, neither am I since we both have multiple trades in progress. If you want the next batch sooner than later, let me know. Mortimer- Still no sign. I don't know if he received the 19 discs I sent him or if he sent the 19 discs he owes me. If anyone hears from him, let me know. ----------------- Update on potential ring traders: EJ- Received his SD and WCW comps. So far so good. teke also had a trade with him that was successful. Has indicated that he may not be able to do multiple trades but I may give him access to the Collector's Ring anyway. Nick- First trade was a success. All of his stuff looked really good. I am converting a couple of tapes from him including some 1970s Mid-Atlantic house show footage that was absolutely stunning. He said Ginnetty has all 16 volumes so I am eyeing that. ---------------- Working on potential trades with Dan Ginnetty so if anyone has a Dan Ginnetty wishlist, put it down so I can keep it in mind.

The only one of you I'm currently in a trade with is goodhelmet, and I'm now about 30 discs into his 50+ disc order (yes, I've done the Midnight Express comps ). It's pretty good going, I'm enjoying watching all this stuff at mega-speed in the little box that DVD Shrink provides. Re: the MMA trades I was getting into, the guy I was doing it with seems to have disappeared, so I'll wait til he reappears. And the Lynch things...I'll go email him now to see if he's sent them yet.

Mortimer, What's the video status of your WCW stuff? Is it NTSC or PAL? I'm hoping for NTSC on all of it because I'm interested in some of your PPVs and, especially, your Clashes if the VQ is good. ECW stuff may fill in the blanks where necessary since I need it and yet the VQ on it won't exactly suffer much when going from PAL to NTSC. (ECW *ALWAYS* looked like shit)
