Even this early on, you knew Taker was going to be something different, something special. Percy's a lot more menacing here than he was when he became a soprano version of Gomez Adams later on, and Taker doesn't quite seem like a zombie yet, just a slightly less-than-normal man with a death obsession, which is creepy enough.

 

I forgot to say this in the Warrior/Savage thread, but I'm glad Taker wasn't a part of the match. His presence would have damaged, in not outright ruined the intensity, and Savage wouldn't have come across as quite so noble if he'd had to rely on outside help to try to win. (Sherri doesn't count for purposes of this discussion.)
