March 10, 201312 yr Author comment_5538391 Always interesting to see where Undertaker's gimmick started. He is pushing the feud with Warrior, and this is cartoonish, but it's also a little chilly.
March 27, 201312 yr comment_5540005 Undertaker's first extended promo under the gimmick. Not too bad. Even though this qualifies as sort of a dream match from a kid/mark perspective this program--not a feud yet--could still use a shot in the arm. I think we'll get one.
April 12, 201312 yr comment_5541841 Lots of hand movements from Paul Bearer. Undertaker is guest on Funeral Parlor. He’s been working on a special casket for Ultimate Warrior. Both guys sound slightly different from when they finally get their characters down.
June 18, 201312 yr comment_5548270 Taker is the first guest on the parlor and lays out the issue to the Warrior. I thought this was ok as the first long term promo the taker delivered.
July 1, 201312 yr comment_5549564 He also told the Warrior to not Rest in Peace but to Rest in Peaces. Great promo from Taker.
May 11, 201510 yr comment_5667885 Even this early on, you knew Taker was going to be something different, something special. Percy's a lot more menacing here than he was when he became a soprano version of Gomez Adams later on, and Taker doesn't quite seem like a zombie yet, just a slightly less-than-normal man with a death obsession, which is creepy enough. I forgot to say this in the Warrior/Savage thread, but I'm glad Taker wasn't a part of the match. His presence would have damaged, in not outright ruined the intensity, and Savage wouldn't have come across as quite so noble if he'd had to rely on outside help to try to win. (Sherri doesn't count for purposes of this discussion.)
