April 1, 201312 yr Author comment_5540661 Embry turns his attention to the returning Jerry Lawler, and I stand corrected on any previous Embry criticism. He's had a ton of heat put on him so Lawler can be the savior.
April 10, 201312 yr comment_5541669 Ric Flair plagiarism aside, this is an incredible heel promo by Embry. Maybe his best in the role.
May 9, 201312 yr comment_5544310 Being out of the studio and being by himself helped make this promo better. Embry seemed more focused with not having an announcer interrupting him. He’s ready to welcome Lawler back as he wants to face him again and this type put him out for good.
August 28, 201312 yr comment_5559104 Really great Embry promo where he lays it all out, shows great emotion, and brings up some good points allowing Lawler to return triumphantly.
June 6, 201510 yr comment_5673321 Here we see the rational side of psycho Embry, which somehow makes him more dangerous than ever. He not only threatens Lawler, but the Gilberts and Fuller, and you can feel the hatred oozing out of him with every word. I agree with Kevin that he's better here without Dave rolling his eyes and constantly telling him to knock it off and go away. I don't think we're quite ready for Lawler/Embry yet, at least judging by the match listing, but it's not too far in the future. There's something about Embry calling himself "the man" that makes him seem like even more of a rat, especially since he hasn't accomplished one-tenth of what Flair has. It's yet another subtle way of ratcheting up the heat so Lawler can bring it to a boil at the proper time.
November 21, 20177 yr comment_5821449 Embry with an incredible heel promo. I like how he addressed everything, but still managed to make Lawler the true focal point of the thing.
