That way, the feud that is starting to gain momentum is saved for the big show and everyone wins. It's also interesting how much more they're willing to invest in Jericho the moment he turns heel. He works as a face and can't get anywhere near the belt, turns heel and is immediately there. They obviously have much more faith in him in that role.

I would have Cena/Jericho be the ME of SS with Edge annoucing that he will use his MitB contract imediately following the match. It fits with Edge's charcter to want to take the easy way out. HHH should have gone on vacation after Backlash. I can't see him skipping Summerslam, though. There's too much money to lose for him by not being in the ME or at least in a top match. If he does skip the PPV then he and Cena will ME WM 22.
July 10, 200520 yr comment_2824259 The creative team thinks Jericho is better in the heel role as a potential champion than he would as a face champion. They basically liked his heel CW stuff in WCW and thinks that's the only effective champion's gimmick Jericho could pull off.
