May 6, 201312 yr Author comment_5544053 Jim Neidhart is being escorted from the ring with a knee injury (I think there may have been an angle before this involving Flair??) while the Beverly Brothers are making their entrance. They decide to jump Neidhart and attack his knee for fun.
June 7, 201312 yr comment_5546937 They just hated his pants and wanted to stomp him in the legs as much as possible.
June 8, 201312 yr comment_5547052 Neidhart had just taken a submission loss to Ric Flair and is being helped to the back. He gets in the Beverly Brothers' way, so they take out his knee further. This knocked Neidhart out of Survivor Series and allowed them put Sgt. Slaughter in, and I would assume also served to set up the New Foundation.
June 4, 201411 yr comment_5605783 Fairly random segment for the yearbook but I enjoyed the Beverely's hugging each other after their attack.
October 13, 20159 yr comment_5704288 I have no idea what to make of this. It seemed like a way to establish Enos and Bloom as sneaks, but even if Pete's reasons were correct as far as real life goes, was there ever any attempt to explain their actions from a storyline standpoint? I've never heard of a New Foundation/Beverlys feud; if there was one, it didn't make any pay-per-views that I recall. I don't even think Owen came in for a few more months.
October 13, 20159 yr comment_5704346 They ran Neidhart vs Genius in Nassau on Dec 13 and Bushwhackers/Neidhart vs Beverly Brothers/Genius for the next few days, then for all of January and most of February ran New Foundation vs Beverly Brothers until it became High Energy vs Beverly Brothers.
October 13, 20159 yr comment_5704356 Thanks, Matt! It's a wonder they didn't at least let Bret have a non-title bout or two with one of the three of them for old time's sake. Neither Enos nor Bloom was ever going to be a singles contender of any sort, let alone Lanny, but it would have been a nice nod to history.
February 1, 20187 yr comment_5830823 Seemed fairly random, but I guess it goes somewhere. The hug afterwards was nice. I'm curious to see if Enos and Bloom look out of place in the WWF. They seem like a more WCW style of team.
