Uvalde Slim (Dusty Rhodes) vs. Super Destroyer (Scott Irwin) (1/9/80) Uvalde is a mystery opponent and pins Super D in seconds with Humperdink going nuts. Uvalde was awesome and this is an extra. Nikolai Volkoff vs. Don Serrano (1/9/80) Volkoff is dressed in fur head to toe which looks awesome and then destroys Serrano. Next we get a Johnny Valiant promo after a squash. Then we get the contract signing for Bubba Douglas putting up his hair against Sir Oliver Humperdink's beard. "Big Cat" Ernie Ladd vs. Mike Miller (1/9/80) Squash. Mr. Florida cuts a promo about returning from his eye injury and coming for titles. (5/7/80) Steve Keirn vs. Rick Oliver (5/7/80) Yep this is Rip Oliver. Competitive match. Mike Graham vs. Raul Mata (5/7/80) Another competitive match. Dusty is out for a promo talking about winning the Florida Heavyweight Title and talks about Dory Jr. coming to town with them showing him winning the NWA title from Kiniski. There were also videos shown of Dusty battling Race & Terry Funk. (10/29/80) Next we get a promo by Lord Alfred Hayes who was awesome as a heel manager going off about Dusty taking the Florida title from Bobby Jaggers. (10/29/80) "Hangman" Bobby Jaggers vs. Roger Smith (10/29/80) Roger is also known as Dirty Rhodes and he gets some offense in here. Next we get a promo by Jerry Brisco about going for the NWA World Jr. Heavyweight Title. (September 1981) Cocoa Samoa vs. Wild Bill Snyder (September 1981) This ends in seconds. Jaggers is out for a promo calling out El Gran Apollo. (September 1981) Next we get clips of a Briscos/Funks brawl. (1/7/82) Killer Karl Kox vs. Steve Sybert (1/7/82) Squash. Iron Mike Sharpe & The Spoiler vs. Eric Embry & Tim Horner (1/7/82) Embry is getting a push here as the spunky young babyface and this is fun for what it is. Then we get clips of a Sheeps squash where the Brisco's get involved. (October 1981) Jaggers & Eddy Mansfield are out next for a promo about the Brisco's with clips of Mansfield beating Tommy Gilbert for the Florida TV Title. (October 1981) The Assassin vs. Cocoa Samoa (October 1981) Assassin was movin just fast as Cocoa here because he was damn good shape at this time in his career. Short but decent with Assassin loading his mask to win. Tommy Gilbert & Cowboy Lang vs. "Hangman" Bobby Jaggers & Little Tokyo (September 1981) Not a long match but fun for what it was. Next we get a video for Lawler. Jerry Brisco vs. Les Thornton (8/19/81) This is an awesome mat wrestling match as both men are just trading holds and counters at a fluid pace. Thornton was the NWA Jr. champ here and a master wrestler so this was done to show Brisco was just as good and ready to win the title. Thornton was throwing some real nasty European uppercuts here and was working tight as shit. Brisco would get the upset win and this was just a damn good match. This moves forward easily. Next we get the AWESOME contract signing between Dusty & The Assassin for the NWA World Heavyweight Title with Coach John Heath and Assassin beats Dusty bloody wit ha briefcase as Dusty tricked him into signing for a Texas Death match. (August 1981) Then we get Take 5 with Barbara Clary & Dory Funk Jr. who tells us what a Texas Death Match is with this awesome sign giving the rules. This is good stuff. $5,000 Challenge: "Mad Dog" Buzz Sawyer vs. Ray Hernandez (8/19/81) Yep this is the future Hercules looking very skinny here. El Gran Apollo vs. "Hangman" Bobby Jaggers (8/26/81) This is JIP and a competitive match until Jaggers walks out of the ring for a countout.
