(BUSTER) Continental #2

Next we get clips of Bullet vs. Flair from 4/28/86 and this looks like it was awesome. The Flame or now known as El Fuego made his return to attack Bullet.

Solie pitches it to Joe Pedicino who is with The Flame who flatly denies that El Fuego is him. Great stuff.

Southeastern Tag Titles: "Luscious" Robert Fuller & "Gorgeous" Jimmy Golden © vs. Steve Armstrong & "Wildfire" Tommy Rich (5/5/86)

This is basically all four men beating on each other inside and outside the ring with the Studs juicing and the faces being ruthless working over the cuts biting them like vampires. The Studs are just getting their asses kicked here. Steve would get dumped over the top rope for the desperation DQ. This was way too one-sided and was beginning the feud.

The Lightning Express are out for a promo talking about putting their Continental & US Jr. Heavyweight singles titles on the line against Tom Prichard & Jerry Stubbs.

winners take all here. The action here was fast and furious with the heels pinballing all over the ring and the faces looking like worldbeaters. Great punches thrown here by everyone and Horner is really good here as the FIP taking the punishment. Brad comes in off the hot tag and runs wild before we get the 4-way brawl with Dr. Tom pulling Brad to the floor as he tried to attack Stubbs. Horner fights back but Dr. Tom drops a knee off the top rope on Brad's neck as he crawled back in allowing Stubbs to cover for the win. Very good fast paced tag match and I'm pushing this on as a nomination.

No DQ Match for the Southeastern Tag Titles: "Luscious" Robert Fuller & "Gorgeous" Jimmy Golden © vs. Steve Armstrong & "Wildfire" Tommy Rich (5/19/86)

Two weeks before the Studs got DQed, the week before it was a DDQ, so now it's no DQ. The Studs come out with this big fatass wearing a pink shirt called Dr. Love who is described as their cutman. This is a war from the bell with the Studs being in control early in the match beating on Steve. It's no DQ so Tommy finally smartens up and joins the action making this a 4-way until Dr. Love tapes Rich's feet together like Big Show at the Royal Rumble. Steve gets worked over seriously and Tommy gets nailed as well with some awesome punches even juicing while taped up. The referee eventually throws the match out as a no contest before the faces finally run out to clear the ring. The faces are left bleeding like stuck pigs but come back cutting awesome promos on the Studs. This feud was fucking great and this is extra material.

Southeastern Tag Titles: The Nightmares (Danny Davis & Ken Wayne) © vs. Brickhouse Brown & Nick Patrick (8/26/85)

Brick dominates the whole match basically as he has all the offense for his team then works as the FIP before tagging in Patrick who worked sloppy here. Patrick would cradle a Nightmare before the other one hit him with a forearm on the back of the head off the top rope forcing a pinfall. Okay match.

Next we get a video going over the Rich cousins/Nightmares feud before the Rich's come out for a promo on the Nightmares. Good stuff.

Tommy then comes back out for a dueling promo with the Flame.

Norvell Austin then makes his return in a promo where he gets into it with the Nightmares who want their promo time. Of course this would lead to a brawl where Norvell dominates them until the numbers game catches up to him. Norvell would reverse the Nightmares Tombstone with a SITOUT TOMBSTONE on Davis right on his head. Bill Ash would then run out to help the Nightmares and they destroy him until Roy Lee welch would come out for Ash and Brickhouse Brown would come out to help Norvell take out the Nightmares. This is great extra.
