Posted February 8, 201312 yr comment_5534042 Solie starts the next show with Tim Horner showing clips of Horner going into the heel dressing room looking for his belt where he found it in Welch's stuff of course and it led to a massive beatdown by all the heels of the promotion before they threw him out. This was awesome and a definite extra. Southeastern Heavyweight Title: "Wildcat" Wendell Cooley © vs. "Dirty White Boy" Tony Anthony (7/21/86) Street does commentary for this one. This was a very good back and forth match with both men giving as good as they took until we got a ref bump and Miss Linda at ringside used her crutch on Cooley allowing Anthony to get the pin but Ronnie West would find Miss Linda under the ring and he reversed the decision giving Cooley the match by DQ. Good match. Scott Armstrong would come out after the match and talked about how Brad got injured by Stubbs with clips of how it happened. Injured is a codeword for All-Japan tour. Stubbs would then come out and announced that he got the Superkick banned by Bob Geigel pissing off Scott. Solie isn't so sure of this and wants to talk to Geigel personally. Next we get the AWESOME Ric Flair Fire & Ice video. Texas Tornado Steel Cage I Quit Match: The Bullet & Brad Armstrong vs. "Luscious" Robert Fuller & "Gorgeous" Jimmy Golden (10/28/85) Awesome action here as these guys are firing away with shots trying to get the juice flowing. This ain't nothing fancy but just some good old fashioned southern hatred. All four men are going all out on everything trying to get someone to quit but no one is backing down. The Flame shows up knocking down the referee so Roberto Soto runs out and neutralizes him. Bullet gets the Fuller Leglock on Robert but Flame throws an object in the ring with Brad catching it and using it on Golden. Bullet would get the figure-four as Flame entered the cage and Soto following and this is insanity. The heels eventually run out the cage with the referee calling for a DQ due to the Flame interfering. This was fucking great shit and a slam dunk nomination. US Jr. Heavyweight Title: Bill Ash © vs. Ted Oates (8/19/85) Gordon Solie admitting he called a spin under takedown a wing over takedown saying that he goofed was hilarious. Oates using the Mr. Wrestling II kneelifts early on was fun. Ash tries to stall outside the ring a couple of times but Oates keeps him in the ring and eventually works over his left leg so he can get the spinning toehold but Ash would rake his eyes to break free. Ash wouldn't have the advantage long as Oates starts firing punches but Ash would get his Arkansas Whiplash as a counter to get the win. Okay match. Next is the Adrian Street video we've seen many times. Then we get promos by Roy Lee Welch, Bill Ash, & Adrian Street about future matches. "Mr. Unpredictable" Dick Slater vs. Kent Glover (8/26/85) Slater makes his debut here winning easily. Next we get promos by Norvell, Brickhouse, Rich, & Slater about the upcoming Alabama title tourney. Then we get the wrestling action in slo-mo they like to show. Norvell Austin & Brickhouse Brown vs. Randy Barber & Wayne Lavinski (8/26/85)
