Posted February 8, 201312 yr comment_5534098 Not as good as the street fight, but still very good. We got some more grody bloody mask from Invader and some nice cage bumps by Muta. Pretty cool finish with Invader getting superkicked out of the cage for the win. I think people would be excited to see this
February 8, 201312 yr comment_5534109 This is brief, but very effective over all. Super Black Ninja is Muta and you pretty much get the Muta you expect from this era, sans a moonsault. Invader gets bumped big into the cage early and works virtually the entire match on the defensive, with his mask ripped awkwardly and a bloody head peaking out. There is one really awesome hope spot early where he fights all the way back and delivers one huge chop, but has absolutely nothing left to follow up with. Ninja keeps trying to escape to win and Invader makes these desperate saves clutching at his feet. Invader finally makes his comeback and bumps Ninja big time into the cage busting him open. Ninja even ends up crotching himself on the top rope. Ninja is able to counter with a dropkick, but it drives Invader out of the ring door and he wins the match and the title. Not long enough to be great, but this was both novel and good.
May 11, 20169 yr comment_5752396 Steel Cage Decision Match for the WWC TV Title: Super Black Ninja vs. The Invader (2/6/88) Ninja attacks Invader as soon as he gets in the cage ripping his mask then throws him into the cage facefirst bringing out the juice. Ninja is just tearing Invader up here who is reeling from all the punishment but tries to get the fans to rally him up which he would eventually do hitting Ninja with a big chop but he crumpled back to the mat. Ninja goes back on offense totally destroying Invader but each time he tries to leave the cage, Invader makes this miraculous leap to grab his foot. Ninja then would go to a sleeper hold thinking that would stop Invader from grabbing him but that failed so Ninja is frustrated because he can't walk out. Invader would kick Ninja right in the balls and that was what finally woke him up and he started paying Ninja back throwing him into the cage forcing juice from him. Ninja would climb up this time with Invader joining him and Ninja would crotch himself on the top rope. Ninja would catch Invader with a desperation Superkick but it sent Invader flying out the door to win the match and the title. This was short but damn it was fun and I'll pass this forward as a nomination.
