Nasty Boys matches, but there you go. This was actually a really fun little Bull Rope Match. Nothing super spectacular, but both guys bleed, there is some skin carving with the bell, some belt shots and some choking. Santana making his big comeback via nutshot is as Puerto Rico as it gets. I really liked Santana's desperation resistance spots when Jaggers was going for the corner touches early on. I also thought it was fucking hysterical that Jaggers won via nut shot and then kicked the shit out of the ref so he could hang Santana post-match. Maybe a little on the short side, but thoroughly entertaining.

May 13, 20169 yr comment_5752714 Yes this is on that tape and I liked this a lot better on the rewatch. Texas Bullrope Match: "Hangman" Bobby Jaggers vs. Ricky Santana (10/29/88) Santana is on commentary for this match with Dick Slater which was nice. Jaggers jumps Santana at the bell and he starts pounding him down with the rope then choking Santana with it. Santana is wearing white tights and is juicing good while Jaggers is vicious working the cut. Jaggers would go for the win but Santana tripped him up before he got to the 4th corner so Jaggers would pay him back by working over the cut again. Santana would catch Jaggers low with the rope and then he started pounding him with the cowbell and now Jaggers is leaking with the fans going nuts. Santana choking Jaggers with the rope while both men were bleeding buckets was a great visual. They do the deal where both men touch the corners before Jaggers kicked Santana from behind in the balls then touched the turnbuckle to win the match. Jaggers then kicked the referee and hung Santana with the rope for good measure. This was a really fun bloody match and a fairly easy nomination.
