Mike Davis & Mike Rotundo vs. The Infernos (January 1984)

Next we go to Maple Leaf Wrestling starting with a promos with Rudy & Terry Kay who suck on promos before Johnny Weaver attacks them.

 

Brickhouse Brown vs. Gary Royal (1/9/84)

 

There are like tens of people in the crowd at the Civic Center in Branford, Ontario and they are dead. Brick is so out of place in this territory but he is still fun.

 

Next we get an awesome Jimmy Valiant video where he is hanging out in some park with his soul brothers and sisters doing all kinds of shit.

 

Bob Orton Jr. vs. Brett Hart (November 1983)

 

This is Barry Horowitz and a squash.

 

Next we get a promo by Mosca with a young Tony Schiavone about his upcoming cage match with Sgt. Slaughter.

 

Jimmy Backlund & Jimmy Golden vs. Arn Anderson & Jerry Stubbs (9/8/84)

 

Odd seeing Golden teaming with young jobber Jimmy del Ray. Anderson & Stubbs were a underrated great team. Austin Idol is on commentary basically begging Stubbs to return to being Mr. Olympia again. Golden goes on offense before Arn & Billy Spears go after Idol leading Stubbs to go over there and wonder why they left the ring which forced a countout. The crowd is nuts here wanting Stubbs to turn.

 

The Rat Patrol (Scott Armstrong, Johnny Rich, & Tonga Kid) are out next going over the clips of their match against Anderson, Stubbs, & Spears.

 

Then we get promos by Spears & Rat Patrol.

 

Boris Zuhkov vs. Wayne Lavinski (9/8/84)

 

Squash.

 

Next we get clips of Idol vs. Boris with Idol about to get his hair cut by Arn but Stubbs turns on Arn and Stubbs was injured after Arn threw fire in his face.

 

Ontario Mauler vs. Al Scott (9/8/84)

 

Mauler is sent by Vic Rain who was suspended.

 

Next we get a personality profile with Porkchop Cash who was coming into the area and this is fun. Idol is there as well talking about Zuhkov who cuts a retort promo. Arn cuts a promo next about Stubbs who cuts a promo about Arn and this is great stuff.

 

Porkchop Cash vs. Mike Thor (9/8/84)

 

Squash.

 

Next we get a heel Mr. Wrestling (II) & Mr. Wrestling II (Pat Rose) whining about not getting title shots which brings out the Armstrongs wanting a match but the masked men walk off.

 

Bullet Bob & Steve Armstrong vs. Paul Brown & Tommy Gilbert (9/8/84)

 

So funny seeing Bob wearing the half shirt like his sons. Competitive match with Gilbert throwing some nasty forearms. Messsirs Wrestling attack the Armstrongs afterwards and they pound on them until the Rat Patrol made the save. Then there are promos to follow. Fun stuff here as you have Zuhkov demanding communism, Mr. Wrestling being a cranky bastard, and Austin Idol being Mr. America.

 

Mr. Wrestling & Mr. Wrestling II start out the next show whining about working the 1st match on the cards and that it won't happen again. Awesome.

 

The Rat Patrol (Johnny Rich & Tonga Kid) vs. Tommy Gilbert & Steve Miller (9/15/84)

 

Gilbert injures himself here as Tonga tries to irish whip him but he fights on and this is a good competitive TV match before Messirs Wrestling shows up with a blackjack and they destroy the Rat Patrol until the faces run out. They cut an angry promo afterwards before Randy Rose shows up with Messirs Wrestling who gloat about what just happened.

 

"Ravishing" Randy Rose vs. Les Freeman (9/15/84)

 

Fairly easy win for Randy and broke Freeman's nose in the process.

 

Next we get promos from Arn Anderson, Randy Rose, Bob Armstrong, & Porkchop Cash.

 

Porkchop Cash vs. Paul Brown (9/15/84)

 

Squash where Scott Armstrong announces on commentary that Tonga Kid has broken his collarbone or in other terms on his way to WWF.

 

Then we get clips of Arn throwing fire in Stubbs' face again and this leads to a promo from Jerry Stubbs who has a red dot over his head which is hilarious and talking about "Uncle Arn" turning his back on Jerry's kids. Arn then cuts the promo off and told Stubbs to tell his kids that he was clumsy and that's why he got burned.

 

Austin Idol is out next and they show clips of Idol injuring Billy Spears. Idol also brings out the wheat in a ripoff of the Lawler angle from December 1983.

 

Jimmy Golden vs. Richard Dunn (9/15/84)

 

Squash and Ontario Mauler attacked Golden afterwards but was run off.

 

Then we get promos by Tommy Gilbert, Ontario Mauler, & Golden.

 

"Universal Heartthrob" Austin Idol vs. Jimmy Backlund (9/15/84)

 

Squash.

 

Then we get a promo by Messirs Wrestling gloating over their masterplan followed up by Zuhkov whining about Idol with a followup by Idol & Rat Patrol.

 

Next we get an episode of Mid-South Wrestling.
