Posted February 16, 201312 yr comment_5535563 Kevin Sullivan vs. "White Lightning" Tim Horner (8/25/86) Sullivan just destroys Horner here in and out of the ring using steel chairs and the like. Horner is a crimson mask but he fights back throwing some bombs before Sullivan uses the Fuerza kick to the balls to end that. Horner again though not giving up got a sunset flip for a nearfall and fought back more but Sullivan was just too dominant until Ron West called for the DQ as Sullivan tossed him around. Frankie Lancaster would run him off eventually with a 2x4. This was a helluva fight and a fun segment over all plus a great way to get Sullivan over as a maniac. Extra material. Brad is out next for a promo on Stubbs injuring people such as Scott Armstrong. Then we get promos by Stubbs, Welch, & Cooley. Brad Armstrong vs. Johnny Stamps (8/25/86) Squash. Sullivan comes out for a promo on Horner who cuts in retort which Sullivan pulls out a spike afterwards to threaten him with. "Dirty White Boy" Tony Anthony vs. Roy Lee Welch (8/25/86) Welch is still doing his king gimmick. This is a heel vs. heel match which was odd at the time and Welch was more heel than DWB. After some good action, Welch would go to his tights and KOed DWB to get the pin. Next we get a Street promo with clips of him beating Savage in Memphis. Nice of Continental to adopt the Bill Watts philosophy here. Then we get promos by Fuller, Golden, Prichard, Armstrongs, & Intern. The Bullet & Steve Armstrong vs. "Luscious" Robert Fuller & "Gorgeous" Jimmy Golden (8/25/86) Fuller wearing a fucking silk lavendar ascot with his jacket is awesome. This was a good match with Bullet putting Golden to sleep with the sleeper for the finish. Next we get a promo by Bullet who wasn't wearing a mask but a fucking hood with the eyes poked out. He looked like he was ready to rob Solie. Then we get an episode of USA Wrestling which has no sound.
