This continues where the last disc leaves off with Landell & Prichard talking about matches in Knoxville and this starts with Doug Furnas vs. Kevin Sullivan. Budro is great here even killing Ron Wright.

Landell has brought Shogun in and I have no idea who he is.

 

Then we get promos by DWB & Stubbs with clips of them winning the tag titles.

Continental Heavyweight Title: Tennessee Stud © vs. "Beautiful" Buddy Landell (2/28/87)

 

This is from Chattanooga and Landell does commentary with Solie. The match is fun and short but the commentary here is just flat out awesome and Landell would win the title with a foreign object which he said just happened to fall out of Fuller's mask. This is a definite extra.

 

Then we get more promos from DWB, Landell, Stubbs, Nightmares, & Stud.

 

Vladimir & Yuri Gordienko vs. Keith Hart & Jack Reed (3/23/87)

 

These fake Russians are HORRIBLE...they can't even run the ropes. Yuri is the same one from AWA and he's Paul DeMarco. Then they cut a promo on the Nightmares who cut one in retort.

 

Landell is out next with his Shoguns and they are breaking bricks which Landell said that he taught him everything he knows.

 

Then we promos by Fuller, Golden, DWB, Stubbs, Hamilton, Street, & Prichard

 

Continental Heavyweight Title: "Beautiful" Buddy Landell © vs. "Wildcat" Wendell Cooley (3/23/87)

 

Mr. Wrestling II who is back in the area and is a babyface is on commentary with Solie here. Fun action to start here with Cooley being fiery and Landell bumping and selling hard. Landell would take it to the floor to get the advantage as he posted him then peppered him with punches which brings out the juice. Landell is fun here working over Cooley while being a dick about it. Cooley would make a comeback and sent Landell to the floor where he posted him in revenge then kicked him in the balls. Landell is now juicing with Cooley working over the cut viciously while trying to get the pin. Landell would get pissed off and decked referee Roy George who called for the bell. Cooley gets pissed by that and tossed Roy to the floor while both men beat the shit out of each other with punches. Jobbers came from the back and they got nailed in the process then the Shogun came out and went after Cooley. The jobbers then joined in and pounded on Cooley before Wrestling II ran to the ring and cleaned house hitting the Million-Dollar Kneelift on Shogun sending him flying. Cooley grabbed a fan's cane and used it on Landell. Then we get promos from both afterwards. Very fun match that was a nomination on it's own and the post match sealed the deal. This moves forward fairly easily.

 

II is out with Solie to close the show saying that he was just passing through and now he will be around longer.

Their are some good matches here. I also dug the shogun brick breaking which could be an extra.

This was a pretty good little match. Landell is such a fun worker. What's even better is Landell commentates with Solie on the match. What a hoot, and an extra.

 

Continental Heavyweight Title: "Beautiful" Buddy Landell © vs. "Wildcat" Wendell Cooley (3/23/87)

 

At 1st I thought this was a solid nomination. After the post match it gets bumped up to a high end nomination. We star with some early Landell schtick which really gets to Cooley. Cooley is so full of fire here made even better with Landell's bumping and selling. Landell does a good job working over Cooley on the floor, and Cooley is busted open. I loved Landell working over the bloody Cooley. Cooley makes the comeback and just kills Landell on the floor. The ref gets knocked out and we have a wild post match melee. Man this was awesome.
