Posted February 18, 201312 yr comment_5535950 First fall of this was fine but a little bland with Borne not really distinguishing himself. But he picked it up in the second fall when he had to rally from Buddy destroying his back. His set-up of the airplane spin was particularly well done and for once, I actually bought it as a serious move. The match really took off in the third fall with an epic blade job by Buddy that gave Borne all the focus he needed. The finish wasn't great, with Oliver and Tough Tony running in to further the Bornes vs. Army issue. But it wasn't awful either. This match really gained intensity over the three falls. And the blood will set it apart come voting time. Easy nomination. New Portland Disc 12
