What's interesting about this is that this was telecast in Montgomery in 1993 some 5 years after it's original airing.

This starts with Danny Davis out talking about being the new US Jr. Heavyweight champ until Paul E. comes out and challenges Davis to defend his title against Ken Wayne which Davis agrees to. (7/18/88)

Dr. Tom Prichard vs. Mike Starr (7/18/88)

Dr. Tom wins easily before DWG runs out and attacks Bambi and DWB attacks Tom. DWB then holds Bambi for DWG to slap her around.

Willie B. Hert vs. Turbo Ted (7/18/88)

Hert is full on Road Warriors here running out and destroying this jobber because Eddie Gilbert attacked his son the week before on TV which we get clips of. I hope we get this somewhere else because this was a controversial angle at the time. Hert cuts an angry promo afterwards.

Next we get another promos by Davis & Hert.

Continental Tag Titles: Shane Douglas & Lord Humongous © vs. DI Bob Carter & Detroit Demolition (7/18/88)

Douglas & Humongous beat Carter & Private Pyle who subbed for Demo the week before for the titles so this is a rematch of sorts. Pyle gets invovled here as he drags Douglas to the floor as Humongous is cleaning house but the Samoans (Sika & Kokina) show up with Alan Martin until Hert & Mr. Olympia clean house. Carter looked pissed at Martin afterwards.

Next we get Missy's Manor with Paul E. as her guest and Paul is upset with Missy turning face.

Rick Hazzard vs. Lee Peak (7/18/88)

Yep former World Class referee Rick Hazzard is working here as a wrestler.

Alan Martin is out next with his Samoans so Carter and his crew comes out pissed that Martin ruined them getting their titles back. This of course lead to a brawl among the heel teams.

Ron West is with Charlie Platt next talking about Gilbert & Paul E. paying off Jack Curtis and that Gilbert is fined for $5,000. West is in control now and Gilbert is pissed. Sam Lowe then comes out for some abuse by Paul E. which leads to Gilbert attacking him. Idol runs out and makes the save using a leather strap before they get pulled apart. Willie B. Hert then runs out and the war takes on a new element. Wild segment and extra material.

Next we get promos from DWB & DWG, Martin, & Paul E.

US Jr. Heavyweight Title: "Nightmare" Danny Davis © vs. "Nightmare" Ken Wayne (7/18/88)

This is JIP 10 minutes in according to Platt & Pedicino. What we get is very good and Wayne cheats to win using the tights.

The next show starts with Platt & Pedicino interviewing the "legendary" Burrhead Jones. Yes they called him a legend.

The Wild Samoans (Sika & Kokina) vs. Lee Peak & Mike Starr (8/8/88)

Squash and a promo afterwards.

Next Ron West is formally introduced as the new General Manager of Continental. Then we get clips of Gilbert's foolishness which brings out Gilbert & Paul E. who call out Burrhead Jones. Burrhead of course gets his ass kicked and piledriven. Hert & Idol run them off and Hert is awesome here selling this

Then we get promos from Idol, Pez, & Burrhead.

Rick Hazzard vs. Private Pyle (8/8/88)

Samoans come out and attack both men until Carter & Demo made the save.

Shane Douglas is out next for a promo talking about winning the tag titles with Humongous.

Dr. Tom Prichard vs. Bucky Seigler (8/8/88)

Doc wins fairly easily.

Then we get Missy's Manor with Alan Martin along with the Samoans. Martin thinks he is hot shit now that he has a lot of money and kisses Missy with help from the Samoans. This is extra material.

Idol & Willie B. Hert come out next for an angry promo about Hot Stuff's abuse of their friends. Hert is great at being pissed.

"Universal Heartthrob" Austin Idol vs. Turbo Ted (8/8/88)

Squash.

Then we get a promo by Paul E.

Jerry Stubbs is out next with his HAIR TRANSPLANT which looks so odd for a promo about Gilbert which brings out Ken Wayne who talks shit on Stubbs.

Jerry Stubbs vs. Nightmare Freddy (8/8/88)

This isn't the Nightmare Freddy you know from Memphis. Just a guy in black with an old Nightmares mask on since he is Ken Wayne's partner. Stubbs wins but gets attacked afterwards with Freddy using a loaded claw hold that brought out blood from Stubbs & Davis.

The next show starts with Ron West announcing that the Road to Birmingham is official on October 3rd. They pimped this tourney for 5 months.

Detroit Demolition (Randy Culley) vs. Turbo Ted (8/8/88)

Squash.
