Posted February 27, 201312 yr comment_5537088 This starts with a Condrey promo about the DDT challenge from the last disc. Condrey talks about Brickhouse Brown calling him Outhouse Brown of course. Then we get clips of Brick's Continental debut. Cactus Jack vs. "Rockin" Ron Starr (11/20/89) Starr coming out to Eye of the Tiger was hilarious. Starr runs to the ring and beats on Cactus who takes an insane bump over the corner to the concrete floor. Cactus is juicing early as Starr is just popping jabs to his head then backdrops a running Jack over the railing before they brawl in the crowd. This goes up in the bleachers and the crowd is going nuts as Starr is throwing mad punches. The crowd is running at Brody in All-Japan levels here and it's quite the spectacle before finally going back to ringside where Starr uses steel chairs to the back. Cactus is a complete crimson mask as they battle to the dressing room. Starr comes back and the crowd is apeshit for him. Starr then cuts a great promo afterwards. This is a fantastic brawl and a definite extra. That show was the last first run Continental TV show as the next week they went to a replay. This show starts with clips of Condrey DDTing Prichard on a steel chair putting him out of the area with a promo by Condrey to boot. Jerry Stubbs vs. Don "The Stomper" Harris (8/13/89) Stubbs wins fairly easily as he pounds Harris from pillar to post inside and outside the ring. Then we get a fun promo by the Studs on Stubbs. "Beauty" Terry Garvin vs. Todd Morton (8/13/89) Todd puts up a really good fight here and this was a decent match before Garvin KOed him with his perfume can. Next we get a promo by Street & Miss Linda with clips of the Garvin feud. Todd Morton offers his assistance to Street and we get a promo from Garvin to follow. Continental Heavyweight Title: "Lethal Weapon" Dennis Condrey © vs. "Nightmare" Danny Davis (8/13/89) Davis takes it to Condrey early using dropkicks to send him to the floor then uses his counter wrestling prowess to maintain the advantage. We get some fun matwork here with Davis being really solid on defense getting in and out of holds then coming back up and firing punches to work over Condrey. Condrey would use a headbutt to the gut and a backbreaker to turn the tide before chunking Davis to the floor. Here is where it gets interesting as Condrey goes to the floor and attacks Burrhead Jones who was keeping time at ringside which pissed off Cooley then he DDTed Davis on the concrete. Cooley goes to check on Davis who is now juicing but distracts the referee so Condrey could DDT Davis on the floor again. Davis is selling this like crazy trying to get back in the ring but Cooley pulls him away to save him. Condrey celebrates heavily in the ring then cuts a promo afterwards saying this is what happens when you try to take his title and this was a damn good angle. "Tennessee Stud" Robert Fuller vs. Continental Cat (8/13/89) Man I need to find out what song the Studs use here as the theme because it kicks ass. Cooley is out next talking about what happened with Condrey and Davis came out saying that Cooley cost him the match but saved his life. Davis thanked him and this was great. The Southern Boys (Steve Armstrong & Tracy Smothers) vs. Mike Davis & Lou Fabiano (8/13/89) Jerry Stubbs is on commentary and the Boys win easily with a promo to follow with Stubbs. Next we get a video for ICEMAN PARSONS!!!!!!! who was supposedly coming into the area.

Continental Heavyweight Title: "Lethal Weapon" Dennis Condrey © vs. "Nightmare" Danny Davis (8/13/89) I enjoyed this match and am putting it on the block as a low end nomination. They do some fun mat work to start. They work a real fun pace with both guys looking good. They worked some fun arm bar spots. Davis with a nice knee to the shoulder. Davis outside gets hit with 2 DDT's and the drama of him trying to get in the ring was pretty amazing. Cooley eventually stops Davis to save him from more punishment. The angle at the end put it over as a low-end nomination.
