Posted March 1, 201312 yr comment_5537413 This is the same as #1 This starts with Bullet Bob & Brad Armstrong talking about beating Condrey & Rose for the Southeastern tag titles. Jimmy Golden vs. The Avenger (12/27/80) Easy win for Golden. Next we get a personality profile with Golden who is returning to the area and he has changed his tune as he is a babyface now but it's all a setup for over a month later. Jimmy Golden vs. Frank Lavert (1/3/81) Another easy win for Golden. Jerry Stubbs is out next where they show clips of a match between him & Shadow (Norvell Austin.) Next we get promos by Shadow & Stubbs. Then we get a promo by Golden who wants a match with Stubbs. Dennis Condrey & Randy Rose vs. Norvell Austin & Mike Jackson (1/3/81) I love Norvell works as himself in matches then as Shadow against Stubbs since he can't get matches against him as himself. The faces get some offense to start especially Norvell but Mike gets isolated and worked over by the heels although he gets some counter wrestling in. Norvell would get the hot tag and ran wild until he would get isolated himself so we get a double FIP segment here. Norvell fights to get to Jackson and after a double head collision he would get the tag. Jackson comes in but Rose would neutralize him immediately until after a high knee caught Jackson he was able to make a tag. Norvell came back in and he would get worked over so the psychology here got really interesting as we get numerous hot tags but the heels maintain the advantage every time. Eventually we would get a 4-way brawl with Jackson eating a double clothesline to get beat. Good match but just not good enough I think. Next we get a personality profile from the Armstrongs, Ron Fuller, and Johnny Valiant with clips of a Fuller/Bullet vs. Stomper/Don Carson match. "Tennessee Stud" Ron Fuller vs. The Scorpion (1/3/81) Squash. Then we get promos by Bass, Condrey, Rose, & Saito. Bullet Bob & Brad Armstrong vs. "Outlaw" Ron Bass & Oki Shikina (1/3/81) Okay match with Brad taking a lot of punishment including a long stomach claw segment. Bob is great on the hot tag cleaning house but the match gets out of control and Brad is working as the legal man even after Bob got the hot tag and the match would go back to a normal pace before going back to a 4-way brawl. Bob would get a sunset flip from the apron on Shikina to win but he wasn't the legal man. It turns into a wild brawl afterwards with the locker room clearing. Next we get another promo by Armstrongs, Fuller, & Valiant. Bass comes out screaming about the Armstrongs and everyone runs out for a wild brawl. This was fun. The next show starts with clips of a Stubbs/Golden match with Golden narrating. Then we get promos from Bass, Stubbs, Brad, & Golden. Next we get a promo by Valiant who has turned on Stud "Outlaw" Ron Bass vs. Roy Lee Welch (1/10/81) Welch gives him a fight early but Bass is too much for Welch here. Then we get clips of Paul Orndorff arm wrestling Ox Baker from Mid-South TV in 1979....this is extremely rare footage from this era of Watts. Next we get promos from Bass, Rose, Brad, Condrey, Golden, Stubbs, Stud, & Valiant about the Corvette tournament. Norvell Austin vs. Oki Shikina (1/10/81) Okay match nothing special. The next show starts with Thatcher talking about how the US Jr. title was held up because after Golden beat Stubbs he was weighed in and came in overweight which Stubbs thought meant the title would go back to him. (1/17/81) Jerry Stubbs vs. Ray Harris (1/17/81) Squash. Paul Orndorff makes his TV debut here in a promo and we get more clips of 1979 Watts featuring Orndorff here with a beard. Next we get promos from Golden, Orndorff, Bass, & Stubbs. Then we get a personality profile with Orndorff so he is all over the TV here. Next we get a promo by Condrey & Rose who regained the Southeastern titles from the Armstrong with clips of the change. "Outlaw" Ron Bass vs. Ken Timbs (1/17/81) Timbs looks worlds different here than he would 3 years later. Brad comes out next saying that his dad isn't there and talks about the titles change but Mr. Saito crashes the segment slapping Brad leading to a brawl with Brad getting his ass kicked. Extra material. Robert Gibson makes his return to the area and wants revenge on Bass injuring his brother. Robert Gibson vs. Jimmy Jones (1/17/81) Gibson wins but Bullet Bob comes out during the match as he just got to the building and he wants a fight. Mr. Saito vs. Charles Odem (1/17/81) Squash. Stud & Golden come out next and Stud talks about how he has taken Golden back as a member of his family since he has changed. Oh what a few days will make. They narrate clips of a wild Stud/Valiant match.
