Posted March 1, 201312 yr comment_5537421 Dutch & Condrey come out talking about their frustrations regarding Terry Taylor making a name for himself and Dutch has an open contract for Taylor to sign. Taylor comes out saying that he is already booked but they basically call him a chicken forcing him to sign it. Dutch then reveals that Taylor signed a deal to face Bad News Harris not him. Don Diamond comes out and tears up the contract. (6/7/80) Troy T. Tyler vs. Rick Connors (6/7/80) Squash. Then we get promos from Tyler & Randy the Mountaineer. The Manchurians (Tapu & Tio) vs. Don Diamond & Tim Horner (6/7/80) Horner replaces Terry Taylor who has to wrestle Bad News Harris later on. Manchurians really work over Diamond here who after a long punishment would get the hot tag to Horner. Horner comes in firing away but gets demolished by the Manchurians. This was a big squash. Next we get promos from Condrey & Dutch. Then there is a personality profile with Austin Idol who talks about his recent ventures into Knoxville and his babyface turn. This is good stuff. (6/7/80) Randy the Mountaineer (Randy Culley) vs. Ivan Rapaputski (6/7/80) Randy gets the win fairly easily. Then we get another promo by Dutch who is wearing his awesome SUZIO DUTCH shirt. Southeastern TV Title: Terry Taylor © vs. Bad News Harris (Kamala) (6/7/80) The picture goes in and out here at the beginning. Harris works on Taylor but Taylor would fight back until Dutch Mantell shows up to get involved and he posts Taylor on the floor. Taylor juices from the post shot and Harris works on the cut but again Taylor fights back showing fire and bodyslams the huge Harris. Taylor hits a dropkick and Dutch decides to jump in the ring along with Dennis Condrey and they beat on Taylor until Don Diamond & Troy T. Tyler run them off. Fun stuff. Then we get promos from Diamond, Tyler, and a bloody Taylor. The next show starts with Taylor coming out and demanding that Dutch Mantell face him on TV for his newly won Southeastern Heavyweight Title and Dutch comes out saying that he is still sore from the previous night’s matches along with having 105 degree fever. Condrey comes out and says that he’ll sign the contract and he does. Ivan Rapaputski vs. Tim Horner (6/14/80) Squash. Kevin Sullivan then comes out for a promo about how great he is and how Terry Taylor is almost as great. Next we get a promo by Harley Race who is coming in to defend against Mr. Wrestling II Southeastern Heavyweight Title: Terry Taylor © vs. Dennis Condrey (6/14/80) Sullivan is on commentary and once again the picture goes in and out. This was a good back-and-forth match with both men looking fine. Condrey would get the advantage and pounds on Taylor causing him to bleed from the mouth but Taylor would fight back before they would collide heads. Dutch Mantell shows up and throws water on Condrey to wake him up so Sullivan comes over to confront Dutch. Taylor would knock Dutch to the floor and would get pinned by Condrey to become the new champ. Good match but the picture problems hampered it. Then we get promos by Sullivan & Taylor.
