Posted March 6, 201312 yr comment_5538036 "Dirty White Boy" Tony Anthony & "Mr. Perfect" Jerry Stubbs vs. Clement Fields & Al Scott (11/3/86) Scott Armstrong is injured and doing ring announcing now. DWB & Stubbs are teaming for the first time here and they would make a formidable team down the road. Stubbs is back from an All-Japan tour and has picked up the sasorigatame as a finisher. Next we get a video for the Bullet who is wearing a sweet brown leather jacket going to visit the Armstrongs on Armstrong Avenue as they workout. He comes and goes in a fuckin white Cadillac then dances as he gets in and leaves. Slam dunk extra. Then we get promos by Rip Rogers, DWB, Stubbs, & Street. Dr. Tom Prichard vs. The Hawk (11/3/86) Hawk puts up a fight but not enough. Next we get a promo from Sullivan, Chris von Colt, & Headhunters about the Bullet & Stud. Sullivan is in full on insane mode. 2 Ring $100,000 Triple Chance Battle Royal (11/3/86) Rip Rogers sitting on the floor hiding is fun and this match is basically full of heels and jobbers. There are only like 4 top faces here in Steve Armstrong, Nightmares, & Prichard. Armstrong makes this interesting though as he gets the hell beat out of him by Sullivan & Headhunters in one ring juicing like crazy. Everyone gets eliminated from ring two leaving the guys in ring one although Steve throws Sullivan into ring two with himself soon to follow. This is supposed to lead to Sullivan & Steve vs. Headhunters but it ain't working that way. Steve is bleeding like a stuck pig but fights valiantly with the crowd going nuts for him. Crazy visual as he tries to tag Sullivan but Sullivan throws him down face first then shows his hands which are covered in blood. The Headhunters are just fucking around here while Steve by sheer adrenaline gets a schoolboy on a Headhunter to win. The heels are upset then pound Steve some more while Sullivan walks away with both $50,000 checks. Steve was amazing here in his role and this should be an extra as this is one of the best bloody as fuck babyfaces getting destroyed by heels performances I've seen. Next we get promos by Nightmares & Stud. Then we get a promo by Sullivan with his Headhunters gloating over the destruction of Steve. The next show starts with clips of Steve narrating what happened to him last week. The Tennessee Stud & "Luscious" Robert Fuller vs. Pat Rose & Roy Lee Welch (11/17/86) It's awesome hearing the fans go nuts for the Stud Stable. ALL HELL IS BREAKING LOOSE INDEED. Robert is wearing a cast for his fractured wrist thanks to Sullivan's crew. It's also fun seeing the Stud working the Bullet gimmick after over a year of fighting him. Rose & Welch make this competitive but the Stud's take care of business. Solie & Sullivan do an interview next where they talk about a Best of 7 series of pole matches between him & Steve Armstrong with the $100,000 check on the line. Then we get promos by Steve Armstrong & Studs which is quite the visual. Kevin Sullivan vs. Mr. America (11/17/86) Mr. America is a muscular jobber who has no chance. Next we get prompos from Nightmares, DWB, & Stubbs about the Continental Tag Titles. Then we get a fun Rip Rogers promo where he is lying at every turn and talking mad shit on Street. This is really good stuff. Next we get promos by Prichard, Street, Rogers, & Welch. Steve Armstrong vs. Chris Von Colt (11/17/86) Colt doing the Nazi salute on the way to the ring is wild. Colt is an old and crafty worker so he uses weapon shots behind the ref's back and various strikes as offense nothing spectacular. Sullivan would grab the ropes allowing Steve to hit the floor but he comes back with a sleeper hold on Sullivan who runs in along with the Headhunters for the DQ. Fuller & Stud come out to make the save. Next we get a promo by The Bullet (Steve under the mask), Robert, & Ron Fuller together which was fun. Sullivan & Headhunters cut a retort promo. Then we get a promo by DWB & Stubbs who challenge every team in the world including the Road Warriors & Funks. Sullivan then closes the show whining about Ron Fuller showing up for promos. Texas Bullrope Match: Dr. Tom Prichard vs. Roy Lee Welch (12/15/86) Good action early seeing Prichard juice from the rope shots. This is pretty good stuff here as Welch is firing away with shots with Prichard taking them and surviving before he drags Welch around the ring to touch 3 corners until Welch tackles him into the 4th corner to win. The one thing about this match I didn't like was there weren't any teases around the turnbuckles as Prichard won on his first attempt. Welch was pissed afterwards and tried to hang Prichard with the rope until Street made the save. Then we get promos by Rogers, Welch, Prichard, & Street afterwards. No DQ Match: Tennessee Stud & "Luscious" Robert Fuller vs. The New Guinea Headhunters (12/8/86) The Stud's are in street clothes here and came out to Born in the USA by Springsteen. Total brawl here with the Stud's using leather belts which cause the Headhunters to walk out of the ringside area for a countout. They go to join Sullivan with Solie for a promo with the Stud's cutting a promo in retort. Steve Armstrong vs. Mike Fever (12/15/86) Squash. Next we get a promo from the Flame who is returning and this is good stuff. Then we get promos from Steve, Bullet, & Sullivan. Jimmy Golden comes out for the first time in a while after being blinded by Sullivan as he was just stopping by. Golden says that he is a family man now (Jack Swagger???) and that he is planning on retiring which brings out Sullivan who pokes him in the eye. Cooley & Street help Golden away as Solie is completely disgusted. This is a great segment and a definite extra. Then we get clips of Colt handcuffing Cooley to the ropes and stealing his Alabama title. Cooley is really good here with a pissed off promo. The Nightmares (Danny Davis & Ken Wayne) vs. "Dirty White Boy" Tony Anthony & "Mr. Perfect" Jerry Stubbs (12/15/86) Robert Fuller comes out early in the match and expresses his disgust at Sullivan and accepted a cage match against the Headhunters. The match goes to a break mid-match and we come back to the finish. Then we get promos by DWB, Stubbs, Colt, Cooley, & Nightmares.
