Posted March 7, 201312 yr comment_5538069 Loser Leaves Town: The Bullet vs. "Dirty" Dutch Mantell (7/21/86) Dutch is stopping over here between Memphis & JCP so this is why they went to a LLT match so quickly. Bullet tries to finish the match early with cradles while Dutch fiddles around with a foreign object in his tights while stalling. Dutch would take control and threw Bullet to the floor where he would bash his head on the table before bringing it back to the ring where he would stay on the offensive. Bullet would catch Dutch with a knee to the face and then he took the battle to the floor where he pounded on Dutch before bringing it back to the ring where we would have a ref bump which brings out Jerry Stubbs for a 2-on-1 attack but Bullet hits them both with a clothesline. Bullet works over Stubbs as Dutch throws powder in his eyes as Stubbs rolls the ref back in the ring but as he covered him Bullet would cradle him to get the win. Fun match with a hot crowd and this moves forward as a nomination. Next we get another Kevin Sullivan taped promo. Then we get promos from Fuller, Golden, & Bullet. Steve Armstrong & "Wildfire" Tommy Rich vs. Mike Headley & Larry Wright (7/21/86) Squash. Next we get promos from Armstrong, Intern, Wildfire, Fuller, & Golden. "Mr. Perfect" Jerry Stubbs vs. Gene Williams (7/21/86) Stubbs being clean shaven facially is hilarious. Roy Lee Welch comes out and explains that he has no idea why Tim Horner's US Jr. Heavyweight Title was in his bag and Horner had no right to come after him. Then we get promos from Scott Armstrong, Horner, Stubbs, & Welch. "Exotic" Adrian Street vs. "White Lightning" Tim Horner (7/21/86) Street just brutalizes Horner here with hard strikes and then Miss Linda uses a crutch on Horner which pisses him off starting his comeback. Horner then goes to work on Street and has him on the ropes before Roy Lee Welch makes his way to the ring and distracts him then trips him as he runs the ropes followed up by holding his foot while Street pins him. Horner jumps Welch afterwards and it's 2-on-1 until Wendell Cooley cleans house. Fun for what it was. Next we get promos by Cooley & Street. Kevin Sullivan starts the next show making his debut in Birmingham saying that the Stud sent for him and he is here. This leads to a promo with DWB and Dutch walks by with his gear as he is leaving town and said that he would be back to get revenge. Extra material. (7/28/86) Continental Heavyweight Title: "Mr. Perfect" Jerry Stubbs © vs. Scott Armstrong (7/28/86) Scott is in control early and tries to finish him off with the Confederate Kick but Stubbs drops to the floor. They would do some nice MUGA headscissors work before Stubbs would use some roughhousing tactics but Scott would hang tough and hit a big cross body block off the middle rope for a nearfall. Scott would get pissed at the referee and tossed him across the ring before Stubbs would pick him up and crotched him on the top rope. Stubbs then grabbed a steel chair and atomic dropped him on the chair which was cool spot for the time before Brad Armstrong would run out with a chair of his own to send Stubbs reeling. Fun for what it was. Then we get promos by Fuller & Sullivan before we get the great Fuller & Golden video which was the first time this aired. Next we get a promo by the Bullet about an upcoming match with Flair. The Bullet vs. Kevin Sullivan (7/28/86) Sullivan sprays mist in Bullet's eyes as he comes to the ring and just tees off on Bullet but Bullet would answer back quickly with a figure-four leglock. Robert Fuller would run out though and jumped in for the DQ with Sullivan trying to use a coathanger to choke Bullet but a jobber would run out and get choked instead. Tim Horner would run out with a steel chair to send the heels running. Extra material. Then we get promos from Sullivan & Horner. "Dirty White Boy" Tony Anthony vs. Frankie "The Thumper" Lancaster (7/28/86) Thumper gets a small comeback after getting his ass kicked by DWB forever but DWB would finish him off with a diving clothesline off the middle rope. Next we get a promo from Adrian Street where they show him beating Terry Taylor in Mid-South for the TV from over a year and half earlier but tried to portray it as it just happened recently. Hilarious. The Intern (Johnny Rich) vs. Dr. Tom Prichard (7/28/86) Prichard jumps Intern at the bell but Intern makes a comeback and has Prichard on the ropes after a couple of nearfalls. Intern tries to get a sleeper but we would get a ref bump which would bring out Jimmy Golden who gave Prichard an object to use on his boot and followed with an enzuigiri for the pin. Steve Armstrong comes down and tells the ref what happened with the ref seeing the object after Dr. Tom accidentally hit Golden. Then we get promos from Fuller, Golden, Prichard, Brad & Steve Armstrong, & Intern.
