The next show opens up with Charlie Platt with The Bullet who has returned due to the merger between Continental & USA Wrestling.

Doug Furnas vs. Bucky Seigler (8/21/88)

Fairly easy win for Doug with a promo afterwards that is interrupted by the Honor Guard that turns into a brawl.

Then we get a promo from Bam Bam Bigelow about coming in.

Platt then interviews Nelson Royal next who is in the area with his World Jr. title. Royal was so awesome I would've loved to have seen more of him in his prime.

"Dirty White Boy" Tony Anthony vs. Rick Hazzard (8/21/88)

Hot Stuff is on commentary here and Hazzard gives DWB a fight but falls in the end.

Next we get promos by Davis & Hert.

Then we get Missy's Manor with Willie B. Hert who talks about his history as Pistol Pez Whatley in Chattanooga.

The Party Patrol (Davey & Johnny Rich) vs. The Wild Samoans (Sika & Kokina) (8/21/88)

Samoans jump the Rich's at the bell but the Rich's fight back in a big way and they control the Samoans for a while using their speed and quickness. Kokina would nuke Davey with a clothesline with Davey doing a 360 bump for making it look awesome. Davey gets worked over before a 4-way brawl starts and Alan Martin jumps in for the DQ. Missy Hyatt would then scratch Martin in the eyes as well and this is a DDQ.

Next we get a promo by Danny Davis.

"Nightmare" Danny Davis vs. Dr. Tom Prichard (8/21/88)

Babyface match with Nelson Royal at ringside Good action to start before we get a wild 3-way bump featuring Larry Brock taking a hard shot then Danny going to the floor in front of Royal who posts Davis. Prichard wins by countout.

"Dirty" Dutch Mantell vs. Turbo Ted (8/21/88)

Squash.

Then we get an overview of the Gilbert/Willie B. feud with a promo from Idol

Next we get promos from DI Bob Carter, Private Pyle, Paul E., & Ken Wayne.

"Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert vs. Lee Peak (8/21/88)

Squash which ends up with Willie B. chasing Gilbert out of the area.

This starts with Platt interviewing Ron West about the Road to Birmingham and the merger of USA Wrestling & Continental. Willie B. Hert comes out as his two weeks was up and Ron West told him to beat them to a pulp.

Continental Tag Titles: Shane Douglas & Lord Humongous © vs. The New Nightmares (Ken Wayne & Nightmare Freddy) (8/21/88)

The Bullet is on commentary here. The faces dominate early before we go to a break and we come back to Shane getting worked over by the heels. A wild brawl would erupt with Alan Martin coming out with his Samoans and Martin used his briefcase on Douglas with Wayne getting the pin. The Bullet jumps in the ring and tells Pee Wee Anderson what happened and he reversed the decision. Bullet was great here.

Then we get promos from Davis & Willie B.

Next we get a Special Report with CWF President David Woods, Danny Davis, & Ken Wayne and it's announced that they will have a hair match along with Gilbert's $25,000 against Davis' 1987 Chevy IROC. This is a definite extra.

The Honor Guard (DI Bob Carter, Detroit Demolition, & Private Pyle) vs. Bobo Brazil Jr., Rick Hazzard, & Deuce Mason (8/21/88)

Squash.

Then we get Missy's Manor with The Honor Guard which wasn't much.

World Jr. Heavyweight Title: Nelson Royal © vs. "Nightmare" Danny Davis (8/21/88)

Dutch Mantell is on commentary here with Platt. Royal really works over Danny's left foot here but he shakes it off to fire off a couple of dropkicks. Nelson though neutralizes him and goes back to work on Danny. Davis would again spring back up and this time didn't even sell all that work that Royal had done on his foot. Davis would key on Royal's left arm but to Royal's credit he kept taking shots to Davis' left leg which was sold this time. This would turn into back and forth until Ken Wayne runs in to help distract Davis so Royal could schoolboy him to win. Decent match but nothing special.

Next we get promos from Alan Martin and his Samoans then Paul E.

"Universal Heartthrob" Austin Idol vs. The Renegade (8/21/88)

Easy win for Idol and a promo afterwards.
