Posted March 20, 201312 yr comment_5539564 This show starts with Hector Guerrero coming out and ripping Americans for stinking. The Bullet vs. The Intern (5/1/88) Squash. Ron Wright is out next for another quality promo about conspiracy theories then shows a Bob Armstrong video claiming he is the Bullet which Solie's outrage makes this great. Next we get a promo from Bullet, Scott, & Furnas. "Superstar" Bill Dundee vs. Alan Reynolds (5/1/88) Easy win for Dundee and after an injury by Reynolds, Dundee taunts and pins him while Fuller & Solie aren't sure of his actions. Scott & Party Patrol come out next and Dundee steals the mic where he cements his heel turn. Then we get a personality profile with Buddy Landell and Budro is gold here. Furnas cuts a promo here as well where it's revealed that Austin Idol will be in his corner against Landell. They show an Idol video to the theme of Miami Vice with Ron Wright running out being pissed off. This is followed by a promo from Wright and the heels. USA Tag Titles: The Rock n Roll RPM's (Mike Davis & Tommy Lane) © vs. The Party Patrol (Davey & Johnny Rich) (5/1/88) The Rich cousins come in a house of fire and send the RPM's reeling as the crowd goes nuts. RPM's do a good job of bumping and selling here before going to a break where we get a hilarious promo for an outlaw show that Jimmy Golden was working. Johnny would get thrown hard to the floor by Davis but when he tried to use the chair it backfired in his face bringing out the juice. This is a total squash here before the RPM's get desperate and throw down the referee for the DQ and it goes to a pull-apart brawl to the back. Nelson Royal then cuts a great promo about pretty boys that he has beaten. Hector Guerrero starts the next show coming out and ranting about Americans fixing Mexican food when they aren't supposed to. Hector said that he would bring food next week. Cousin Junior vs. JD Wolfe (5/1/88) Squash. Next we get a video for Cooley to Burning Heart by Survivor from the Rocky IV soundtrack with a promo to follow. Then we get promos from Landell & Royal. Moondog Spot vs. Rusty Riddle (5/1/88) Squash. Next we get a promo from Ron Wright and his boys. Then we get a personality profile with the RPM's talking about their match the week before with the Rich's. World Jr. Heavyweight Title: Nelson Royal © vs. Scott Armstrong (5/1/88) I love how they said that Royal was undefeated as Jr. champ for 9 years. Royal kissing the ring girl on the cheek before the match after he gave her his jacket was nice. Royal had it made before the match that the time limit for this would be just 10 minutes so Royal is totally in the hem and haw for 10 minutes and keep my title mode. Scott is pesky though and brings the fight to Royal and when they countdown the last minute the Rich's come out to root for Scott who almost puts Royal away but he survives to get the draw. You knew it would be a draw and it was a decent match. Next we get promos by Bullet, Scott, & Junior. Doug Furnas vs. Ron Sexton (5/1/88) Sexton helped train Furnas so he knew how to work him and it was an okay match. Then we get a promo by Dundee and the babyfaces.
