Posted March 21, 201312 yr comment_5539618 Doug Furnas vs. Tony Peters (7/16/88) Peters is old as dirt and looks it. Furnas wins and there are promos from Furnas & Gordy afterwards. Next we get a promo from Ron Wright and his men. Scott Armstrong vs. JD Wolfe (7/16/88) This had one of the greatest starts in the history of wrestling as Scott is standing on the floor and JD decides shit I'll hit him with a tope suicida well Scott sees this and just sidesteps him and Wolfe lands face first on the hard floor. Awesome. Scott wins easily but Royal comes out and jumps him afterwards hitting him with a foreign object. Scott clearly blades and Royal works him over before the Party Patrol runs him out. The Rich's then cut a promo showing clips of their match against the RPM's on 7/14/88. Jamie Dundee comes out and shoves Johnny who chases him around meanwhile the RPM's run out to tar and feather Davey. Extra material. Ron Wright comes out with his men and demands that the nazi flag hang over the set. Wright calls it his flag and this is INSANE. Solie tells Wright that he has been banned $5,000 more dollars for his actions so Wright goes insane blaming Ron Fuller. Moondog Spot vs. Ronnie Travis (7/16/88) Travis looks like an even more emaciated Duff McKagan from Guns n Roses and he gets destroyed. Then we get promos from Bullet & Furnas. The Bullet vs. "Superstar" Bill Dundee (7/16/88) This is a rematch from a few weeks ago and Bullet starts strong but Jamie helps his had by grabbing Bullet's foot and Dundee works over the knee. Bullet fights back though and eventually locks on the sleeper but Jamie runs in and knocks out Bullet from behind and Tommy Weathers calls for the DQ. Bullet wakes up though and takes out both Dundee's as the crowd goes nuts. Bill then demands a match afterwards putting up $1,000 silver dollars against Bullet's mask. The Party Patrol are out next very angry about the segment earlier and they want revenge. Nelson Royal vs. Brad Anderson (7/16/88) Easy win for Nelson. Next we get clips of Gordy/Choshu from AJPW which they have shown before. Then we get promos from Bullet & Party Patrol. USA Tag Titles: The Rock n Roll RPM's (Mike Davis & Tommy Lane) © vs. The Party Patrol (Davey & Johnny Rich) (7/16/88) Rich's dominate at the start until Johnny takes a hard bump over the top rope to the floor with Davis taking him to the dressing room door and pounding his head into it. Johnny juices heavily from this shot and the RPM's are vicious working over the cut with Johnny being damn good working FIP. The hope spots were great and Davey eventually just ran in the ring to fight off the heels and in the confusion Jamie goes to the powder but it backfired right into Lane's face with Johnny getting the pin to win the titles. Very fun TV match here and this was a damn good feud. This moves forward fairly easily. Dundee comes out pissed about what happened in the last segment and rips on The Bullet enough for Bullet to come out and he chases them around before grabbing Jamie and goes to spank him but Bill attacks him with a spray can where he paints a yellow streak down his back. Fun stuff. Mongolian Stomper vs. Todd Morton (7/16/88) Solie & Ron play up Todd's guts here and to his credit he gets some offense in here before Stomper wakes up and just destroys Morton. He really bloodies him and then they have the nerve to put a black spot over Morton's face when his bladejob wasn't nearly as bad as Johnny Rich's which they showed. Stomper beats the shit out of Morton until Ron Fuller takes off his shirt and runs in the ring and cleans fucking house. The crowd goes nuts as he gets the FULLER LEGLOCK on the bodyguard then drops elbows like hell on his leg. Bullet & Furnas then run out to back him up and then we get an wild promo from Wright so this is a great segment. Definite extra.
