USA Tag Titles: The Rock n Roll RPM's (Mike Davis & Tommy Lane) © vs. The Party Patrol (Davey & Johnny Rich) (7/16/88)

 

Rich's dominate at the start until Johnny takes a hard bump over the top rope to the floor with Davis taking him to the dressing room door and pounding his head into it. Johnny juices heavily from this shot and the RPM's are vicious working over the cut with Johnny being damn good working FIP. The hope spots were great and Davey eventually just ran in the ring to fight off the heels and in the confusion Jamie goes to the powder but it backfired right into Lane's face with Johnny getting the pin to win the titles. Very fun TV match here and this was a damn good feud. This moves forward fairly easily.
