Posted March 25, 201312 yr comment_5539909 US Heavyweight Title: Magnum TA © vs. "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton (3/23/86) This is a rare Eaton singles match and a dark match from a TV taping in Greenville. Magnum works over Eaton's left arm fiercely early but Eaton catches him with some hard right hands to neutralize him. Magnum to his credit though gets a sweet armdrag and again works over the left arm. Magnum wraps it around the ringpost then posts it again and he is just ruthless here. Corny would piss off Magnum enough to come over there allowing Eaton to regroup and he then took over with help from Corny's tennis racket. Eaton throws some great punches here and gets juice out of Magnum's old wounds which is great. Magnum is fun fighting back and he would hit a big superplex to put Eaton down giving him a chance to regroup. Magnum makes a fun comeback teeing off on Eaton who is great at bumping and selling before a double collision would send Magnum to the floor. Eaton shoves Tommy Young before trying to slam Magnum back in the ring from the apron but Magnum tucks and rolls cradling Eaton to get the win. Very fun match and I'm throwing this on the block. Indian Strap/Texas Bullrope Match: "American Dream" Dusty Rhodes & Chief Wahoo McDaniel vs. Tully Blanchard & "Nature Boy" Ric Flair (4/8/86) Man this looks awesome on paper and is a dark match from a TV taping in Spartanburg. This is JIP a little but it looks like we didn't miss much as the Horsemen are ambushing the faces. Dusty juices quickly from the cowbell before Flair gets locked in with him and Tully is locked in with Wahoo who is also juicing from the strap. Wahoo is bleeding like a motherfucker here with puddles forming where he lays. Tully & Flair are kicking ass here but you can't keep the faces down as they make spirited comebacks and use their weapons of choice to get their pound of flesh. Flair & Tully are now juicing as well and this is a total war. Roughhouse Fargo is the referee here and this is a match that he would be proud of. I love Dusty using the cowbell on Flair's leg while Tully uses the strap to send Wahoo into the ringpost head first. Dusty would get the figure-four on Flair as Wahoo just chopped the shit out of Tully but a kick to the balls would allow Tully to climb up top where Wahoo would coldcock him with the cowbell to get the win. Dillon comes in and he gets smashed with the cowbell too and openly blades. This was a fucking awesome match and a slam dunk nomination.

Someone else might be able to confirm this but I believe this match is also on the NWA 1986 handhelds 4-disc set that has been around forever. I mention this because the JIP part could likely be on the HH version and could be edited in if it makes this particular set.
